Do I need 2 Maxes and 1 med to be immune? so (6*2)+2= 14 to be immune?

Except on Elite difficulty.
I don't know the exact numbers, but I recently found out that what makes you immune to a status on normal difficulty is not enough on elite difficulty. Not a problem for haze bombs in LD though. Nice profile picture.

Got Frost High on Kat Eye Cowl + Skolver Coat + 5* freeze trinket, and this whole combination gives me immunity to HoI wisps on elite mode. I still get load of damage from frost traps though.
There's gonna be that mission tomorrow, so I guess that means some testing.

i use a dragon helm with a fire high uv and a volcanic plate mail, which lets me not catch fire by wisps and shadowfire. traps work for me tho.

Traps (after a certain depth) and zombie breath are strong status, so you can't be immune to them (although don't know if anyone has tried with max uvs, trinkets, and appropriate sprite perk)

I am immune to Ice Cube haze with Black Kat and Snarbolax Coat and no trinkets, if that helps. The only monsters that ever froze me with this combo are those damned OP Silversaps (Freeze Lumbers).
7 (6.5?) for haze bombs, 8.5 for wisps
max is actually +4 on armor, so yes two maxes and a low will do it
