The spawnrate buff is really subtle. So subtle it even feels lower.

I went from about 1-2 kats an hour to about 4 an hour (3 in the same level). Is this a way of admitting the spawns were actually rarer than the last event?

well, I went from an average of 1 kat every 6-8 runs to 1 kat every 3-4 with a chance of double kat. feels like we have gone from low tier to mid tier in the kat forge.

As far as I know Nick confirmed that the chance to encounter a black kat was the same as last time. (http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/87514)
Only this time there is no mist to consider..
What's next? Giving out free rose regalia sets because people complain they're not easy to get by?

Just want to say I appreciate the spawn rate buff. Though luck still seems to swinging around a lot. Yesterday I got quite a few kats. Today 1 kat in 11 runs. ;_;

The increase in spawn rates is probably to account for the event lasting one week instead of two.

even though it appeared as if the spawn rate decreased, i am still happy as i got the book, and thereafter, the cowl, today (did i use thereafter in the right context?)
