So met a new friend, he wants the perfect seer mask and i think doesn't have the DLC. personally I'd never use it but i do have 3 frags to make it.

So what's a fair price for it? Something that covers the grind of the operation and all of the materials/energy involved in making it.

Doesn't it cost like 4k energy just to unbind the mask? He could buy OCH for less than that.

It costs 1066.666... energy per 5* O:CH item if you are to split the cost of O:CH in the amount of 5* items available from it. The Mask does require a single craft but the only things that one might care about in that craft is the 5k CR required for the craft as well as the two Trojan Horseshoes worth about 500 CR each. Eternal orbs are eternal and you'll obviously need to do three runs to gain the fragments required but the only way you can turn them into worthwhile money is by crafting a mask or three.

I agree with zeddy.

At this point, mask selling is pretty pointless since unbinding the mask costs more than the mission, which comes with six weapons besides.

Yea, that's true. I mentioned

Yea, that's true. I mentioned that to my friend but he doesn't care. He just wants the mask and doesn't mind the unbind cost. Well, if that's what he wants that's fine, so now I just need to figure out a fair price for the mask aside from the unbind cost.

Oh! Well what's the price of

Oh! Well what's the price of the average 5 star unbound item? Like without UV's and stuff. This mask isn't all that special so I'll just sell it to him for whatever price basic 5 stars that have been unbound sell for.

I tried finding some examples but all people ever sell are UV items.

I dont know off the top of my head!

wish I did. just calculate the cost of unbinding, and add a profit. Can't go wrong.

That's not gonna happen 'cause people can just buy O:CH for 800 E less than the unbinding fee and do three runs and craft it. People don't sell items without UVs because it costs 4k E to unbind them and they cost 3.5k E in the Supply Depot.

What Zeddy said.

Btw, Perfect Seer mask? Hmm, I don't think it costs anything. Nobody has the Perfect Seer Mask.

Don't sell it for less than 30k crowns on top of unbinding. 30k is what you would make if you vendored it.

Technically, 3 eternal orbs of alchemy cost 800 energy, which is,what, 60k? So you'd need that much just to recoup your orbs. This is assuming you don't have a hundred of the things and don't actually care. Plus 5k for just purely the crowns in crafting. Slap on about 30k because OCH takes a long time and pays like crap, and you could've been doing FSC runs in the time it took you to do OCH. That's about what those runs would take.

So 100k, give or take, is an entirely reasonable asking price for the item on top of unbinding.
