Bomber helms have a visor too, which seems to be stuck at mostly-open. You can only see their eyes when they are charging a bomb or carrying a vial. It would be nice to have the visor all the way up or down, optionally.
Very much a cosmetic thing though, someday I'm sure they'll add all sorts of cosmetic options like this to make our personas more unique.

Please make visors up & down function, that would be really cool especially on the cobalt line and why not
The reason this wouldn't be implemented is that the Mighty Cobalt Helm itself is the Azure Guardian Helm with the visor flipped. This would create a visual discrepancy between the two items.
Another aspect of why this suggestion is relatively moot is that having a toggled visor would clash with Helmet Front accessories on the helmets accepting both that accessory slot and a "visor toggle."
It's a cool idea, but the Cobalt helmet line sort of sealed the deal.

When visor is down front accessories are not rendered and when it's flipped back up the accessories appear again
Cobalt line desperately cries for this. I love the later tier helmets of that line but having face always visible or non-visible is kind of a dealbreaker
Actually, I checked the wiki, and I'm pretty sure the Mighty Cobalt and Azure are the same color. A little hard to tell with the shadow angle, but I'm pretty sure they're the same color.
This argument is going to be like the Tempered/Ascended one.
They appear to be the same other than the visor & plume angle

The bombhead mask does not seem to have a visor, i don't see how that would work.

OOO can re-make the azure guardian helm so it doesn't look exactly like its predecessor.
Problem solved.
Now that I think about It, I'm fairly sure Azure is exactly the same as mighty, as the armour is just mighty + garment.

Ugh, yes. A STYLE feature is really needed. I would love to wear a Mohawk on some armors, but I have a big puffy plume clipping right through it.

Maybe they could also charge us to change it....? Maybe we would have to go to bechamel to have a visor moved or pigtails/pony tails on/off... for a small fee...?

@Luiguiru : Costumes are expensive. Come on, do you really want to make a 4* mighty cobalt helm to hide your 5* helm because all you want to do is move your visor up? Thats like...lets see... 650 CE. Thats ridiculous, all we want is our visor up. We're not whining, this would just be a nice little option that would increase player happiness. What if you like the look of the emberbreak helm, but hate the pigtails because it makes you look like a girl? Hurr hurr, to bad. There is no other helm that looks like it without the pigtails. Also, it would be nice to choose the color pallete for our armors. But that takes a lot of coding, especially for 3D models, so i don't see that happening.

Costumes are supposed to be expensive; making a 4* helmet to cover your 5* for a costume is not too difficult for the few players who do so. Play the game to pay for it. You already have the recipes in your scenario.
I would wear a helmet with ponytails if I wanted to. I do not know why I would want to wear it as it is merely one of the Proto helmets redesigned but someone out there will want it and will whine about it for any reason they can imagine; human nature dictates nothing is ever good enough to be perfect.
If you want to spend nothing to change the design of an item rather than make another one to use as a costume you can do all the engineering for Three Rings for everyone else who wants it.
I was kidding about the color. There is no argument for them to allow players to change the colors for the item itself, not the personal color areas, just so a few people are "happy" when they could make another one for the color and use it as a costume.

Not only must we pay 650 CE, we must also take time to heat it up just so we can have our visor up for are azure set.
Geez, not everything has to be profitable. Sometimes its nice for developers to give players a nice little something.
Yeah i know you would wear a helm with a pony tail if you wanted to, I'm pretty sure a lot of people would.
But what if you only wanted the helm without the pony tails?
It would real nice to have an option to take it off. People much like customization.

Just so you know, making players happy makes them more inclined to stay and possibly pay.
Would you rather spend the 650CE and less than half your tank worth of elevators for the helmet or ask Three Rings to make a costume for the same thing, taking their resources which should be used for further balancing and new content?
They profit when you use CE since it came from someone who bought it from them, regardless if you personally bought it or another player; it was paid for somewhere by someone.
Obviously arguing beyond this point is going to result in "but player happiness is important when they already have more than enough to be happy with so we should get more" responses. Feel free to continue without me.
Some things should just be done.
But i am not going to expand on that, and i think we should end our arguement.
Things like rebalancing and new content.
On the topic, I still this suggestion is too thin to have merit. Suggesting armor reskins to incorporate an aesthetic mechanic seems like a farcry from what OOO's has on their announcement board in the office.
We just got an aesthetic upgrade to the game, it's now time we sit back and wait for the mechanical aspects to improve further while we look pretty doing so!
I like the idea quite alot actually, but it seems like such a mundane and trivial thing to add that I seriously believe that Three Rings probably would not put in the time to develop something like this.
