I didn't like the party and tried to hit go solo repeatedly. It kept saying "An unexpected error has occurred." Yeah, no, I'd rather quit it than deal with people who are wanting to be carried. I wasn't the party leader, so it's not like I could have kicked them. Specifically UFSC elite.

The fact that it kept saying an unexpected error has occurred for two floors tells me that it's broken. Also I know about evaluating parties before a run, just that one guy in the second half kept bumming for sparks and kept staying dead on the ground, while another guy had brought unheated weapons.

The game does warn you that a party is locked and cannot be modified once the Shadow Key is warned. It's a design oversight on the developer's part to disable the menu for 'go solo'. Though, I would love to go solo at the Sanctuary and idle there until the next server reboot.

I get when it locks it means you can't rejoin, but for it to say "an error has occurred on the server" means something isn't right. They need to either update that message and remove the solo option or allow soloing.

because shadow lair is different from normal mission' and you need to fight fire with fire... like sit on their dead body or say something that can make them angry or make them use spark to rev or just telling leader to kick beggar (but if begging party is your leader, then this is different story), to handle spark beggar or random newbie joined is actually easy without use kick feature... just troll them with humiliate word or do afk alot even in battle (if you have other thing to do in real world and you're the leader or your friend the leader)

In SLs, the party is resticted so the ONLY way to leave is by logging off. Once, there was this guy in SL with me who wanted to stay at the Sanctuary for longer and told me to kick him out (cos i was the leader) but i tried 3 times and it kept on saying unexpected error. Because the party is restricted meaning no one can leave the party UNLESS one person logs out. Does this help?

there still another way if you meet afk player, move it with hammer or spam trollaris and nitrollnome to make afk guy client not responding or error (depend if afk player have bad computer or bad connection).

For your second paragraph: No, because when you kick someone, that someone does not go back to Haven/ready room but, it is just like the same thing that happens when you click to go solo. The only difference is, well, you get kicked.

because it was restricted place or maybe because shadow lair is exclusive~
but it was your fault from start' because you want to go sl with them --a
and i hate those who just joined me at vana run then go solo make slot locked...
i never go solo or run from fight even all my party are noob (except this noob begging' i will kick it or blame it) because someday... some of those newbie can become more stronger than me or more rich than me~ and we can't just blame them if they can't do anything or not good enough to fight monster, we have to give them direction or advice so they know what to do in this game and not kept begging or quit because don't know what to do...
