We buy boxes, we open boxes, we get item, there is our reward! Along with a bit of energy to buy the stuff we didn't get from the AH. It may not be the greatest system, but that's how it rolls on Cradle.

Patience is a virtue
It is a fair system, all things considered. And it's not like they take a long time to develop. I do appreciate having more costumes in the game after all.
The only issue is how they handle item distribution.

Ehh...
You guys didn't notice this is going more towards Pay 2 Win? You get a whole fully working new shield from the prize boxes. Only available when you throw money at Three Rings. So far the prize box stuff were only cosmetic stuff or a reskin of existing items. I find this sad honestly.
There is no alternative version to the shield that is available from there. Making paying people get an advantage vs F2P players. Well sure I guess we don't use shields in LD but still.

From what I gather the shield is Shadow/Piercing with no status resists. The shield is more for show than anything else.
It is very pretty, as are most of the items from this promo... if you can get them instead of UV tickets, but no where near P2W. I can't really think of any area outside of Compounds and Shadow Snarby where it would be really useful.

Wait the shield has completely unique stats? Useful or not, if it's 5*, that seems awfully unfair. It's one thing to have special gear for beginners that becomes useless after t1, it's another for paid players to have an entirely new, entirely original shield.
It's bad enough when prize boxes are only in the supply depot...

But yeah... OOO is random, sometimes you get a reskin of a sudaruska, sometimes you get totally new useful shield for SL Snarbo only, other times you get a reskin of old weapons with new status dmg/def (obsidian/torto) and other time you just get flash sale...

The torto shields weren't reskins....not some of them anyway. And their shield bash is not only cosmetically but functionally improved. At least I didn't need to pay real money to get one.

But at least that's something. I've seen games were you could only dream on getting specific stuff because it was only available to "Premium" players. And weren't cosmetic only.

Celestial Shield. It's pure BS just to steal our money. I like the stats and would like a shield like that but no, they make it a friggin' promo item. I seriously mean I would use that shield for it's stats, not how show-off it is.
Hopefully we'll see a shield with pretty much same stats as Celestial Shield. I would love that.
