Please bring back mist energy so that we can use that energy for energy gates and energy knights.
but keep elevators free.

Hey hey howdy, fellow knights! It's ragtag, visiting over from the steam community with some suggestions for the game! i've played a good while and I'm super aware the game is in stunlock and probably not going to get any major updates (; _; ), but i thought i would make some suggestions for smaller (and maybe a few more involved) things in the hopes out kindly dev overloards might take ideas from them!

for my first post, i wanna talk about armor ideas!

What if...Mixed Motes?

We all know it: Luminite, Crimsonite and Dark Matter are where it's at. Valestone and Moonstone only have a "real" use in Geological Survey missions.
This is unfortunate because, aside from being near useless, nine times out of ten people ignore them completely. If there's a batch of minerals, let's say one Crimsonite and the rest are Valestone/Moonstone, someone is gonna nab the Crimsonite and abandon the rest completely. It's a waste.

Ideally, I think they should have an easy, convenient use, while still making them less valuable than the big three minerals.

Hello, in this forum I would like to share a small text by way of speculation of what Spiral Knights would have been in another timeline.

- August 2013: Spiral Knights is a "relatively new game" that many players are giving a try to by trying it out. The game has had a lot of impact in the world of free to play, since it is a game that you can find in the Steam library.
Besides! this great MMORPG has the ability to exchange your items, crowns and energy through the Steam market or trades with other players.

I've been obsessed with writing this document (In reality a list of naive wishes) for the past week.

At this document's core is the desire to make the game balanced toward allowing players to make choices regarding what gear they use, giving each difference a purpose, a unique advantage, and a drawback.

I understand the pros of the current system and it is definitely good for a solo player, but it takes alot from co-op experience making every knight basically on their own in the journey and can even lead some players to prefer solo experience. I also understand that some players like the current "second chance" system over being dependent on random co-oper. As well as I understand that there probably were good reasons to change this system.

Iron Slug charged attack recoil animation.

Can we have the old one somehow? I really miss the butt slam.

I know it was changed together with the attack itself to make it more useful and strong, but it became insanely strong with no drawbacks so the whole playstyle with this weapon comes down to charge after charge. I remember that original recoil was slow, but it also did send knight much further back and did make it more of a strategic move than a simple spam. This also resulted in more satisfaction from properly landing this attack.
