The Patch banner button links to

... which *does not* include today's patch info. I tried it in a different browser, one which has never visited this site, so it is not a cache issue.
If you click on the 'calendar format' link on the page, there is an entry for April 29 that *does* have the info, but it is not on the page linked per se.
I agree that linking to a page with no relevant information is an error, that should be corrected.
Please also be aware that the wiki has some weird caching issues. When a patch is rolled out, try reloading the release notes web page in your browser, just to make sure that it really isn't up to date.
You're being too generous about Three Rings' not keeping up its wiki. The wiki is theirs, not ours. They make the first drafts of pretty much every "real" article (excluding guild pages, user space pages, etc.). The crucial articles (Energy, etc.) are protected, so that only Three Rings can edit them. Those of us who edit the rest of the wiki are essentially doing unpaid work to document Three Rings' game. The responsibility for keeping crucial information up to date is entirely Three Rings'.
Given that they don't have the staff needed to make a really good wiki, I am glad that they let us help. Being stuck with crummy articles that we couldn't fix would really irritate the players.
