Because the current situation of it preventing charge time is glitched. It doesn't actually decrease the overall charge time, it just resets the charge time to 50%. Meaning if you're just charging it and take damage, it's instantly jumped to 50%.
Make Fire give the player Charge Time Increase: Medium
Why not instead an MSI med? General cartoon/video game idea that a character with a burning behind runs faster.
We should not be given a boost for getting hit by an enemy attack. The fire is so you want to avoid getting hit, not try to get hit.
If you want charge attacks to be fixed when taking damage, I'd reckon you can create a suggestion directed at that specific issue. I would be all for that.
At first I was like "A boost for getting hit?" and I realized that this seems to be a reversed problem:
-Charge Time Increase means that Charge Time would take a bit longer to fully charge a charge. In other words, Fire would apply -2 Charge Time
-Charge Time Reduction means that Charge Time would recharge faster. In other words it would be +2 Charge Time which is equal to a Level 10 Weapon getting Charge Time Reduction: Medium.
This isn't a buff to players but a nerf to those using Fire Weaknesses. Basically it would give people who don't have resistance to Fire a higher penalty for not having resistance to Fire. Not a buff.
Use something other than Charge Attacks
I use bombs though ;n;
"I use bombs though ;n;"
So get a shield and use swords. I know that you have a CTR VH brandish in your arsenal/inventory. :P
Either I misread your title or you changed it after I wrote my comment. Apologies.
As of right now though, fire is just a damage dealer. We avoid it because we don't want to take extra damage. It should remain as a raw damage dealer rather than a stat changer.
However, if we get an update that fixes the charge deal, then it may make fire a bit balanced to have a CTI on it.
That comes from every type of damage, fire just has the DOT damage that keeps resetting it.
-1, use something other than charge attacks.
