Dress like a Newbie

What would be *really* helpful is if players ranked Knight and above would have 1* and 2* outfits they could put on (including weapons) and just join Squires and Apprentices that want a group for a mission. Make sure they are understanding the point of the mission and provide advice on rooms while you are doing them.

The same is true for mixed sword/gun teaming. Teaching someone how to work *with* the other is valuable knowledge and experience.

Dressing in your Vanguard gear and pretending to 'help' by nuking all the monsters *doesn't teach anyone anything* other than that you are mighty and strong ... which we already know.

I cringe with Apprentices do the 'try out this type of Battle Sprite' mission and never use either of the sprites abilities once.

The missions really are *not* about just killing stuff, really.

Yes, I do know that KO-ing

Yes, I do know that KO-ing the monsters is no use and that teaching them is better since missions are not for just killing the monsters. But, I mean they might need a little help on missions like how sometimes people say in /z chat "I need a party for vana!" or something like that. For apprentices, soldiers, and knights/knight elite I do teach them stuff like " wait until the lichens absorb each other and turn red; that makes you get more loot" and etc. I am not trying to show off my gear; all I want to do is help guys who need it. Thanks for the post though, hope you have a fun day!

maybe not that advice

wait until the lichens absorb each other and turn red; that makes you get more loot

This has been discussed in many threads, and no one has ever offered any evidence that it is true.

Selling Some Gunz

I'm soon gonna get a Toxic Catalyzer/Kilowatt Pulsar, and I might sell it for 50kcr with unbind fee or just a pulsar/catalyzer -2 star for about 30kcr with unbind fee

Also, does any1 need help

@Bopp
Well at least the red lichens make fighting them more fun! Wait a sec... it is true! I fought 5 normal lichens and I got 40 cr.
I fought the big red things and got 45-50 cr.

One of the hardest missions for new(ish) players is "Built to destroy". Most of their problems in that missions stem from not blocking rockets and the general walk at enemy and attack mentality) (which becomes rather useless as a plan the further you play in SK).

Yep. :)

Good, but that's just one datum. We would need more data, to nail down the difference reasonably well. 10 data would be a start. How many data we actually need depends on how big the difference is. This is the idea of statistically significant differences.

@bopp

You must also count materials dropped, as well as the worth of the materials dropped. Not to mention average time to kill 5 little ones compared to one big one.

After a few figures you can evaluate the average rate of CR/seconds for each and compare.

Since we don't have access to highly scientific equipment we can't compare the enjoyment (brainwave stuff) of various people to gauge the average enjoyment of these two scenarios.

"throw science at the wall and see what sticks"

Also, why is no1 wanting help?

It seems that people don't really come to this forum looking for help in the game very much. In my experience, they usually join a guild and ask their guild mates for help.

So threads like this are usually without value. I'm not trying to flame you. Offering to help is not a crime. But don't be surprised if you don't reach anyone.

Sometimes it's more helpful to go around replying to other threads which are asking for help. You know, the usual "Why is there no 5* spur" or "What is the fastest way to get a Book of Dark Rituals" :P But nonetheless, it was thoughtful of you to make such a thread ^.^
