Hello everyone, my character on Spiral Knights is called Viridori, and I've been playing Spiral Knights since Monday 28th Apirl 2014; so only for a couple of days!
I'm currently a Knight Elite and I'm working my butt off in trying to reach the highest rank as soon as possible, so I can focus on getting my 5 star gear. I've been really addicted to Spiral Knights these past few days. I just can't stop playing, and I'm having so much fun. I haven't spent any real money for Energy yet, but I do plan to, once I get to the point where I need to create my 4 star gear, because quite frankly; forget trying to farm for like 16,000 crowns for just one orb of alchemy for the 4 star gear, ahahaha! Anyway to the point of this topic:
A Little About Myself:
I'm currently in my twenties and I enjoy playing the PvE aspect of Spiral Knights a lot, however I haven't tried out the PvP as of yet. I enjoy being really social and friendly in MMO's, and overall just having fun and a laugh with others. I really enjoy playing with other people, which is why I'm looking for a friendly social guild to talk and occasionally play with. Fun Fact about my name: I couldn't pick any of my usual online personas, since they were all taken, so I had to come up with a new name on the spot. Since I picked my character to be green, since my favourite colour is green, I tried to call him something with a meaning for green. So I tried Japanese for green: Midori; but of course that was already taken! So I tried Latin for green: Viridis; this was available, but I didn't really like it. So I merged both Latin and Japanese for green into: Viridori. Thus my Spiral Knight name was created!
I was looking into joining Echo of Silence, since it was a popular post on the guild sub-forum. And they did look like the perfect guild that I would of loved to join, but after reading the whole post, I began to doubt that for myself, since it sounded a little weird half-way through. I liked the idea of how they stated they care more about your personality and being able to have a friendly conversation, while also not caring about your skill or gear, but I didn't really like the sound of "trolling" each other so much, since it sounded a little weird and silly to me. Since trolling is about causing arguments or upsetting people, which kind of counteracts the whole "friendly and social" aspect they originally advocated for their guild. Other than that, they sound great, please; if you're a member of Echo of Silence, and you think I'm interpreting your guild's advertisement wrong, please by all means let me know and explain, then I may send an application through. Because I do want to be a part of a really friendly social guild, but just I didn't really read that entirely from Echo of Silence's guild forum post.
So by all means; if you think your guild is the perfect place for me after reading this, please reply and tell me a little bit about you and your guild. I look forward to hearing from you!

First of all, welcome to the Spiral Community, Viridori! You've made nice progress in the short time you've been playing.
I would like to reference you to my guild, Knight Rain, since we do strive to help new people and the community as a whole. Our theme is to bring forth positive new growth, so getting along with everyone and being a positive influence is something that's important to us. However, while we still are in the beginning stages of founding the guild, the downside to Knight Rain is that we don't have a lot of people currently and therefor there won't always be someone online.
