Dragon and valkyrie wings enable the knight to fly, but the different types have perks. Dragon can be used to fly fast, and valks can be to glide, but for a longer time. Still need to put more thought in.
Have wings enable Flying.
That way I can pretend to fly when I am actually just being stopped by invisible walls before falling to my death!

Also we (probably) don't have hollow bones, thus making flying an even more unrealistic option.
Everyone knew someone was going to ask for this. We get wing accessories; someone wants to fly around, use flight to speed run floors, player versus player, and what not. What do you want next, pets?

god, seeing that comment now makes me think. and laugh. and laugh some more.
anyway, I can't see how to implement more than a cosmetic change for walking on this. having levels rely on flying abilities for completion or even goodies would be unfair (the rich become richer, yay!) and it would be madness to attach a speed boost on something not everyone can obtain, since it's so rare and useful and great.
If there's something League of Legends does right out of all the things it does wrong, it's making sure cosmetics doesn't affect gameplay.
Pulesfire Ezreal is an alternate skin, that while fancy looking, and displays everybody's favorite Anime-esque ADC flying around in a futuristic battle suit, the flight is merely for visual flair, as the Z-Axis has no effect on gameplay, much like Spiral Knights does.
That said, this suggestion is just flat-out silly.
how bout just change the dash and/or bash animations when with wings? like making the illusion that wings are more than just robotic flaps occasionally opening and closing
yeah, it's for cosmetic purposes but hey, who doesnt want to see their knights glide and stuff. im not really in for it but im ok with it i guess

I made a suggestion like this quite some time ago, but long story short, it's not really gonna work :( For starters, More Animations (flying)=More Lag. Accessories aren't supposed to do much either, they are just supposed to make your Knight look good. Not to mention, it would be pretty weird to have you Knight "fly" over spikes, only to still get hit.

There currently is no Z-axis; projectiles that appear above you still hit you, for example.
Cosmetics shouldn't influence gameplay, either.
