This room right here.

What's wrong with it? All eight spikes are coming and going down at the same time.

It used to be that the two spikes on either side in the middle would come up first, then the four corner spikes would come up, then the middle spikes would go down, followed by the cornered spikes (I might have that backwards).

When was this changed?

I noticed that a while ago.

I get a lot of requests for help in that missions so I know it like the back of my Suda. (Cracks and light everywhere : Kats and light everywhere.)

It got changed about a month ago. Not sure of the exact date, but recently.

Pretty sure those 8 spikes were always synched with each other, but that there were also another 4 spike pads on a different rhythm that were next to them forming a central safe path. Been a month or so since I last visited there though so can't say when this changed.

"Sorry to get off topic but what mission is that?"

This wasn't a mission, it was the Arcade.

You are experiencing a PICNIC ERROR!

There IS a mission for it...don't remember what it is. It's one with a knight who's obsessed with books.

There's a mission with a D19 Scarlet Fortress?

Mission is called Time Enough At Last. It's a 5-2 mission, so it doesn't take place in T3.

Something feels off in that room.
I seem to recall more spikes.
Did they remove some (2 on each side in the middle) instead of syncing up?

Grim Gallery

The walkway was bordered with spiked floors all the way through, meaning that the open spaces visible in the picture should indeed have spiked floors. It is these floors that are asynchronized with the other patches of spiked floors.

I must confess, I have not played Grim Gallery in a while but this is definitely a change from the usual. It probably changed along with the other levels of Scarlet Fortress.

Conquest & Fire

Hmm, I did this floor the day before the third Kataclysm and it did behave normally, if that helps place a timestamp on it. Continuing from what Skepticraven mentioned, there is a definite change from how it used to be, but it's not surprising considering how many changes OOO is bringing to the Scarlet Fortress levels lately. Perhaps this has to do with those veteran knights?

Hmm...

Curious.

Now that you mention it, I do remember there being more spikes at the edge as well, and that was where the old pattern came in.

That said, still looking for the date of when it was changed.

Not sure about the date, but

Not sure about the date, but other changes were brought to Scarlet Fortress. Like this room where cats are at distance and you get pot fire to throw at them in case you don't have guns. Well before the changes you had to kill three waves of cats, now it's only one before you can leave the room to finish them off. I noticed a lot of simple changes like these were stealthy made.

Now about the pic you posted, if my memory serves me correctly, I think there were four more spike traps on each side, making two full columns. I'm sure I had to wait twice before being able to cross through.
