Well that's not really alot. Besides, where is it even at? You're implying that this is a mission, given the 8-1. And then there's the fact of 12 depths.

If nothing's changed from the past two events (and it seems like that, unfortunately), you have about a 1% chance to find a BK in the place of a regular Kat, meaning somewhere between 15%-20% per floor.
I have no clue what the drop rate is for the book, but the odds are astronomically low. It took me around 700 pages.

Ikr? Really low atm. Last time they pumped up the rate a lil' bit ( in august ).
Around 20% / floor isn't really really bad considering we don't do the whole lvl, just rushing.
It's takin' me 5-7mins / floor.

Book chance is believed to be one in a hundred, 1%. Thus, any Kat has a 1 in 100*100 chance to drop the book. One in ten thousand? Maybe my maths is off, as it often is when I'm on the forums late in the evening.
