No changes to Seraphynx (Black Kat)? It's not worth paying extra for a Seraphynx reskin that absolutely does the same as the original Seraphynx.

There's something about "prismatic bent vertical vents" that has a nice ring to it.

People will probably pay for it, which makes it worth it for OOO than providing the opportunity to go kat hunting and get enough tokens to recolor it yourself.

The new Seraphynx recolor is
The new Seraphynx recolor is kind of a slap to the face of all of the current Seraphynx users.
We can't just trade our level 100 Seraphynx to level a new, level 1 Seraphynx just because it looks cool/different. There's not even an option for us. Any of the other sprite users have a great opportunity for a cool, new thing sprite with new abilities... Where all we get is a recolor that we have to level all over again. It's kind of really messed up.
On another note, after grinding for 6 hours now, I've managed to get 26 ancient pages. (including the free 8). Which means I've found 1 Black Kat every HOUR of grinding.
This will take me 200 pages to make the 5* hood. Assuming I'll get 4 a day from prestige, that accounts for 52 of the pages, leaving 148 pages to farm. At the current rate, it will take over 49 hours of SOLID FARMING to get ONE hood.
I personally farmed Grinchlin Assault for the Jack Froster, and spent way, way too many hours on that... But no where NEAR 49 hours of game play.

I think they increased the black kat spawn rates... I wouldn't believe my luck.
Anyways, soon enough the community would want frost-blue drakons and deadly-black ninja maskeriaths, I guarentee.

I grinded enough materials to make every event thing, including all obsidian weapons, all christmas weapons, all the tortodrone shields, and got over 400 pages + book last kataclysm
either nut up or shut up.

Vishno, the progress in this event is based entirely around the random chance of running into a Black Kat. Not to mention that I ALSO have to collect enough to get fetishes. My chances of getting something during this two week period are completely up to the RNG. Even doing the missions isn't going to get me more than 28 pages these two weeks. That's pretty low.

OOO is too busy counting money to make anything but reskins. Even hailed Gunner Update basically copies existing weapons, just with different statuses/damage types. Oh well, people guzzle it anyway, so why bother?
