Any sword will do. I would prefer it to be level 1, or relatively close. Currently wanting to pay 2000 crowns for one, but willing to negotiate.

Aeolianmode is right. Any 3* weapon is AT LEAST 15k, but any on the ah or in game will probably be close to 20k. I hope your "negotiations" are at least a 20k difference or more. And secondly they always will be level one, because in order to to level it, you have to bind it.

I'm looking at the game, like, right now, staring at a 3-star recipe, and the amount of crowns necessary to transmute it is 1000. If you factor in the highest amount of crowns that 100 energy costs that I've seen (About 5000 crowns), the total cost looks around 11000 crowns, which is lower than 15000 or 20000, though still significantly higher than my asking price.
Unless, of course, 3-star swords cost more to transmute than 3-star armor, though this doesn't seem right seeing as there is no difference between 2-star armor and swords.
EDIT: I completely forgot the recipe cost. So, yes, it would be 15000 crowns at the least. Forget everything above, then.
Ah, oh well. I'll just keep grinding the Clockworks for crowns. Forget the trade.
Uh, just to transmute a 3* item costs around 15k, not including materials.
