That picture really gave me an idea for a good set :D

So... lately I've been just farming away at the clockworks to get those ancient pages and I just realised... that Kataclysmic Confrontation picture with the BKC + Bombastic knight looks too cool c: This thread is just here to suggest this set as well as help give ideas around it.

Long story short: BKC + Bombastic suit could be a good loadout for hybrid sword-bomb knights like me :)

BKC
+Shadow Defence
+Freeze Resist
+MSI Low
+Universal Damage Bonus High
- Increased Fire,Curse,Shock,Poison vulnerability

Bombastic
+Bomb Damage Bonus Med
+Elemental Defence
+Freeze Resist

Trivia

1. This set is mainly aimed at end-game players.
2. This set could be good in Lockdown.
3. Best used for freeze levels like HoI.
4. Without any UVs, this loadout is quite weak to statuses (except Freeze)
5. This set is aimed at Bomb-Sword Hybrids.
6. This set may be aimed at hybrids which are more dependent on their damage bombs e.g Nitronome , Dark Retribution etc.

:) Hopefully I can expand upon this idea and maybe even try to test it out

bombastic isnt good and bks dmg inc is universal not only swrds. But itll work good in ld unless your bombs are heat up to lvl 10 (ctr max with recon)

@Janeks Thanks for fixing my mistake :) Also I do sort of agree with you on that ''bombastic isnt good'' and that's your opinion :)

I recommend using Mercurial Demo instead. +2 MSI is worth gold and if you'ge got a level 100 sprite, you can reach +4 MSI. Having an even +4 DI is nice as well, even though +5 is higher. The reason is that you can use a trinket or a sprite perk to get +6 DI. If you'd do that with +5 DI, it would probably feel like a bit of a waste as one point of DI would go lost. Lastly, getting that shock weakness out of the way is great.
