Isnt it kind of weird that the new Pet is only a reskin... They could have atleast added some new or changed ability for the first make it purplish With curse infliction Done new abillity now it uses the normal one all Lighty and stuff...

I don't fully understand what you meant with that, but Winterfest didn't any new weapons; the Deadly Candy Poker is a reskin of the Final Flourish, the Nog Blaster is a reskin of the Nova Driver, the Jack Froster is a reskin of the Shivermist Buster, the Scalding Hot Cocoa is a reskin of the Ash of Agni and the Humbug Hazer is a reskin of the Venom Veiler. The reskins don't even have any difference over the original ones, the change is purely visual.
The only thing that the Winterfest added that was actually new were the Silver Solstice Ring, Golden Solstice Ring and Grand Solstice Ring. And I've yet to see someone actually use any of those trinkets in a run.

Probably because they're so rare and so niche. The one person I know who uses them are Fayeth. I think he uses one to gain full haze bomb immunity in LD.

I will say though it would be nice if they re-skinned the beam and maybe the looks for the ultimates (if they did, well great! i just haven't seen them yet).
