Alright, I was getting to the end of the first floor of Weighted in Darkness (8-1) when suddenly my friend Quickslice reconnects to the server and joins my party. Then, since there were no Black Kats to be found on the floor, I decided to restart the mission. When I clicked the restart button, nothing happened. Then a blue message appeared in chat beginning with something like this: "An error has been detected with your knight. Please log off and..."
I can't remember the rest, but this was about 15 minutes ago. Still can't logon whatsoever, and my friends say I'm online even though I'm clearly not. What is happening here?
I can't login to the game!

i got the same message earlier. i couldn't tell you the exact time, but i was about to inspect a knight, and got pulled into a LD match, so i figured it had something to do with that

Here's what I'm going to put
Here's what I'm going to put as a bug report:
"I can't log on at all. I finished a floor, then "An error has been detected with your knight. Please log off and..." appeared in the chat (I forgot what else it said). I followed the instructions but was not able to (and still not able to) log on again. It's stuck at the login screen."
There's not really much else to say other than that. It feels as though I've been banned for doing nothing wrong except that couldn't possibly be the case. It's just stuck at the login screen.

No. Spiral Knights is working for some of us. Spiral Knights is probably down for Steam users while it's buggy in-game.

It's down for me and all of my friends too, I have made a thread about this in the Bug Reports Sub-Forum; where this thread belongs. If you move this thread there, chances are the developers will note it faster.

Steam players have the same trouble? Yes?
Then the problem isnt for all the players it just for Steam Users, im a Steam User and i dont have this trouble, however the first time i logged in the game took like 2 mins to log in (usually it just 20 - 30 segs) but apparently some users have this trouble and some others dont, so your best bet for this it just keep trying until the game let you in (a friend took like 30 tries to log in) i told him just to let the game take it time to log in and if the game dont let in then relaunch the game again, he then leave the game to the take the time to log in, and when he came back from watching youtube the game already let him get in.
But besides that just some users have this trouble and others doesnt.

You've gotten yourself into some sort of half-sent packet or some corrupt data somewhere. (that is, when you try to log on, you don't get a character selection screen. Your game freezes, and Spiral Knights window title changes to "Spiral Knights - [character name]"
The only way to fix this is wait 15 minutes until your character gets kicked for being idle. If you attempt to log in before your character gets kicked, you'll refresh the idle timer, causing you to need to wait another 15 minutes.
me too just now lol... I submitted a bug report and it started with " I can't" then I lmao when I saw the first thing in general forums was " I can't" lol...and it was the same issue too
