I believe that I received the recipe for how to make Dim Fire Crystals from Cracked Fire Crystals once I moved to a rank that didn't need 1* equipment any more. So I have that...

Where does one get the recipe so that one can make Warm or any higher level fire crystal? I don't see it listed as a reward for any of the Rank missions on the wiki.

I've spent two nights trying to farm Warm Fire Crystals from missions and arcade/clockworks levels 1-9 in Elite mode and the drops have been spotty at best. I still need another 63 just to finish leveling my 2* equipment.

I can run level 9-14 of the clockworks, but they do not drop warm crystals ....

Sigh, most games would allow you to waste higher level items creating lower level ones as an expensive substitute...

hmm

You should be able to receive the warm fire crystal recipe from a mission reward, maybe you should review the mission list... I'll be going over there to look for it as well.

Higher ones come from later missions, like after the next hall of heroes, i wouldn't be surprised if the Warm fire crystals come from a mission right after the Hall of heroes it would be needed for.

Yeah i seems kinda stiupid. BUT when you are 5* knight and you want to do something that is made from lower * you need to have 3* equipment at lvl 5 to make it 4* and then lvl 10 to make it 5*. Its way how higher lvl knights dont have to farm fire crystals at tier 1 or tier 2 clockworks. Maybe there will be change in upcoming gunner update (release date is unknown now).

If you are having a problem with not having enough warm fire crystals, do the Arcade on elite from 1-9. That's your best bet for finding them.

The thing is...

Warm Fire Crystals don't really serve much practical purpose as a whole, since 2-star gear doesn't need to be leveled at all in order to craft the 3-star version. If you're stuck with 2-star gear for a while, I guess you might as well do it, but there's no real rush to do so. The only other thing they're good for is if you're a collector (like me!) who winds up with stuff that ends at 2-star and figures they might as well heat them.

You can create warm fire crystals after

the rank 5-2 mission:
"Another Trace".

This is a Kora mission, and its rewards are: Presitge: 25 Warm Fire Crystal Recipe 3 sparks of life.
