Beenix, the others here are right. You need to slow down and explain which items you're talking about. Whether you can get rid of an item has nothing to do with whether you spend real money on the game. So your anger is definitely misplaced.

Some items are "bound". They are marked with a blue dot in your Arsenal. They can be sold to a vendor, without paying an unbinding fee. They cannot be sold or traded to another knight, unless you pay an unbinding fee at Vise. The unbinding fee is a certain amount of energy. If you decide to go this route (which I don't recommend), you can buy the energy with crowns. There is never any time where you are required to spend real money.

A few items are "super-bound". They cannot be sold or traded, even to a vendor (Stranger). These items are also marked with a blue dot in your Arsenal. They include the 0-star items that you started the game with. Why? Because the game wants to make sure that you always have at least one helmet, suit, etc. It's not perfect, but it's not a big deal, because there aren't many of these items, and they aren't worth any money.

Items that are not marked with a blue dot are "unbound", and can be freely sold to vendors and traded with other players, without paying any unbinding fee.

Unless you're talking about a situation with perma-bound items like this (I have two Prototype Rocket Hammers), then you can sell any unwanted item to an NPC vendor. Try going to the Haven Bazaar, and talking to one of the Strangers (for example: Greave), and then sell the item from your arsenal.
