This is just one Ice Knights Opinion but.

It would be nice if the Leviathan blade damage level cap maximum per heat level rank would rise with your Knight Rank, Achievements, and how long you've been playing spiral knights.

This would retain an iconic respect leverage on to explain -WHY- its used by the elite guards. This would give any knight tremendously hard earned and deserved respect you cant just buy with a credit card or be given for the most part. Considering the sword focuses on a central point with not a smidgeon of anything but normal damage and no additional animations or whirlwind stats since. So many other swords are far more useful and even the Divine Avenger can challenge the swords usefulness in the field with a series of 3 ranged attack swords that stall 3 seconds (give or take) before moving forward in split.

We could strike a balance for this Legendary weapon that signifies the beginning of most of our knights here.

Then it wont seem so improperly generic in the hand of NPC's I come across.

[PS. It would be nice if there were an Ice Variant of this sword and extension of the Chilling Duelist to 5-star. Then I would be free to cry Ice cubes of happiness.]

As for the freeze Leviathan, Glacies suggested giving the Cold Iron Vanquiser the ability to Freeze, being so obsolete.

Normal damage weapons in general would welcome a similar buff... But you're creating a pay wall due to the need for radiants to forge. Naturally the system would request more rads with each level. Causing a pay wall or maybe even a p2pwn function in-game.

I'm just picturing a nitronome nuking a whole ld field with this concept though, and that would be beautiful.
