Why people are not playing LD T1?

Seriously, everyone who complains on "normal" lockdown should team up and play T1.

-No polarises, toothpicks, gfs, mist bombs
-No "polaris spammer/asi noobs/aa noob/kebab > burger" flamewars
-Guardians and Recons are worth much
-Striker isn't op anymore
-Hearts heal whole hp
-Guardian's shield heals valuable part of hp
-Mostly no UVs
-Absolutely no ASI except Striker
-Gear is cheap to make and heat up
-Mostly no annoying trinkets
-Shield canceling does not work
-Defence does not matter
-Statuses are nearly not existant
-Not only sword counts. Guns are very useful too, bombs little less
-No proto trolls :p
Et cetera

The only problem is total unpopularity of T1, usually hard to play without friends, but this is only one mode that is totally balanced and Super Brawl comes to mind. People should play this much more often, really, because it is extra fun.

All jokes aside I want to ask a question, I was playing LD earlier today and everyone who killed me had non heated 5 star weapons.

Does LD take away all heat? Or does the game hide the weapons level?

Well....

There's still the Prototype Rocket Hammers. Also, I thought shield cancelling worked in T1?

There's arguably more UV's in Tier 1 than other tiers. Players are given CTR Med bombs, an ASI High blaster, and an ASI High Heavy Hatchet from the first few rank missions.

(Not saying T1 is bad, just pointing a few things out)

They heal one pip. It's a lot more valuable since a pip is worth more in T1, though.

Guardian's shield heals valuable part of hp
Not really. Guardian healing scales between tiers so you're healed less in T2 and T1. Guardian healing is however valuable in all tiers.

Defence does not matter
Have you done any testing? I'd love to see some numbers on T1.

I'd say bombing in T1 is harder and less rewarding than it is in T3. The only guns are blaster style, also. That's not an awful lot of fun and doesn't provide you with any good guns to use as primary weapons.

Minimal HP in t1 ld is 2. Practiacally whole.

No need, cause all weapons in T1 do deal NORMAL damage (exception: Hammer, Edges :l) and ALL armors are normal based, so no diffrence which one are you have.

Swords practically cannot deal status, because they're charge-only and making succesful charge is miracle. Guns and bombs do deal statuses, but very rarely and they're very short as well.

PS - That topic wasn't made to argue about, but to make people to look at T1. Every comparisons are general.

Yes, but most people who intend to play T1 LD re-acquire them.

Okay, except Zapper from mission and seerus mask.
And Guardian and Recon and Heavy Hatchet from missions. It's a lot of sources, really. Luckily, it's all rather easy to acquire.

No need, cause all weapons in T1 do deal NORMAL damage (exception: Hammer, Edges :l) and ALL armors are normal based, so no diffrence which one are you have.
Of course there's a need if you're going to argue about it. The existent elemental damage and resistance matters and we don't know the minimum defence, nor the defence of the available items.

Swords practically cannot deal status, because they're charge-only and making succesful charge is miracle. Guns and bombs do deal statuses, but very rarely and they're very short as well.
Edges have statuses on the combo finishers. The Bombs actually are great for statuses. They're stronger than mist bombs so I dunno where you're getting the "very short" from.

T1 got boring.

-No polarises, toothpicks, gfs, mist bombs - But the only viable weapons are Edges, Heavy Hatchets/thwack hammers, firecracker/cold snap, PRH, and like 3 guns.

-No "polaris spammer/asi noobs/aa noob/kebab > burger" flamewars - You can just ignore those anyway
-Guardians and Recons are worth much - They are anyway
-Striker isn't op anymore - Yes it is
-Hearts heal whole hp - How is this a good thing?
-Guardian's shield heals valuable part of hp - Yes cool
-Mostly no UVs - Not actually, almost all the people who frequent T1 have hugely stacked UVs
-Absolutely no ASI except Striker - and UVs, and guardian shield.
-Gear is cheap to make and heat up - Yes
-Mostly no annoying trinkets - 1* HP trinks in T1 are just as effective as pentas in T3, and lots of people have them
-Shield canceling does not work - wtf are you talking about, yes it does. And it's just as effective on Edges and Hatchets as Brandishes, Toothpicks and SS's.
-Defence does not matter - Even if this was true, it would be bad, but it's not true.
-Statuses are nearly not existant - half the usable weapons deal status. (2 Edges, 4 guns, both bombs)
-Not only sword counts. Guns are very useful too, bombs little less - This is true everywhere
-No proto trolls - Actually more proto trolls, they're just more effective.

I have no idea where you got your facts from. T1 is ok for a change of pace every once in a while, but the lack of weapon and strategy variety along with the low damage output, the boring weapons, high health, and the ridiculous healing rates of everything make it a spamfest very quickly.
