First off I'm not going to rant 'cause I've fallen in LOVE with this game.
But! I'm very iffy about the energy, what do you guys do when you don't have energy?
I mean...there isn't much more to do than going into the clockworks...will I be capable of playing
without paying? (And I know the whole "yeah of course you can, it's free to play." But let's be serious.
It's a pain in the butt)
As of what I understand about the game right now you can trade in game money for energy right? Later on
will I need more energy?
I reeeallllly like this game, but honestly should I keep playing if I don't plan on spending money? I feel so
forced because I'd rather play a pay to play then be put in the awkward situation of having to pay every time I need
more energy (or wait 22 hours)

Need to make enough CR per
Need to make enough CR per 100 CE/Mist to cover the cost of another 100 CE (around 4800CR right now) anything over that is profit you can save up for crafting, as long as you maintain that you can run forever without spending a cent. Bit hard in T1 (boss coming soon I believe might help) but it's still possible even if it's just breaking even your still gathering mats. In T2 it's much easier can usually cover the cost well before 100CE/Mist is used so can save some CR for crafting and T3 similar situation however some T5 mats can cover the cost of 100 CE alone. Also things like danger rooms, arenas are worth doing as long as you not dying and wasting energy to revive.
My advice is just hang in there.

back when i was first
back when i was first starting out every time i ran out of energy i would use that time to sell mats that were stockpiling in my inventory. Selling mats pre-ah days was a bit of a challenge and a race to see who could whisper buyers with reasonable prices first so that would occupy my time and make me cr till i could buy more ce. now..I just make sure i dont run out of en.
like they said, for the CE you spend you should be able to make more then enough to cover that CE cost.

Buy more. Whenever I spend 100 energy I always end up with more than enough crowns to buy 100 CE back.

I thought the 100 mist energy thing was great because otherwise I'd just play the game all day.
... and then I hit Tier 2.
Now I can play whenever I want. :v

Try doing jelly king runs,
Try doing jelly king runs, 8000 crowns per run starting at the peak of the second tier. This will generate you 100 energy leaving you with a three thousand crown profit.
what you need to do if you arent willing to pay is to get enough crowns to buy 100 units of CE
press the energy button on the lower right find the tabs and click the middle one (trade) and on the left side it says how much people are willing to sell
if you want another way click the tab on the right "market" and there you should be able to find an area where you can state a price in Crowns you are willing to buy 100 units of CE (this method is less likely to work)
