Arcade and Compound levels

Anyone noticed how the two last levels are almost always compound levels.

Now you think about how the last two depths are the ones you're supposed to find radiants in.

Now you meditate about the pathetic number of boxes in compound level (two?).

Then when in a desperate attempt you take a look at the forge system hoping you got some radiants somehow and you get this pretty box asking you to buy radiants for ce (it only pops for 5* items).

Did I get this right?

Also, I haven't played the game for months until the Kat event, and I am sure there were more than two boxes in compound levels before.

Compounds can have 2 boxes. But it can also have upwards of ONE MILLIO- six or so boxes. But yes. Its the worst thing ever at D26-D28, so if you see a gate with that don't do it because you won't get anything at all for the run. Other than a wealth of crowns and materials and perhaps a spark of life or two.

My data shows a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 for compounds. Through the spawn positions, it is highly unlikely but possible to get 10 as a maximum.

I personally avoid compounds in depths 26-28 in the arcade, because I prefer having a higher chance for radiants. I also avoid graveyards (unless the random depth includes graveyard, [clockwork tunnels or arena], and treasure vault), devilish drudgeries, and wolver dens, because they are of lower potential as well.

Look for my rarity farming thread in the wiki subforum if you wanted more info on the rates per box and depth.
