Hello Everyone, I'm pretty sure that most people know this already, but aren't Radiant Fire Crystals kinda rare? Ive done FSC a lot and rarely find many 5* Crystals, is there a better place to find them? If not I Really hope that they increase the drop rate of them, because it takes forever to heat up items anymore.

Doing the arcade can make the game and your knights breathe occasionally fresh. They drop from D26 and onward but its rare to expand your game even more than what it already is.

Making endgame weapons in MMO's is never suppose to be a cakewalk.

Actually, they drop from depth 25 and onward.

Try doing the Arcade. If you happen across any Danger Rooms, opening those usually yields large amount of Radiants. Outside of that, Arcade is good because it's not the same exact thing over and over and over and over... there's a lot more fun to be held there.

Seconding the arcade strategy. The 3 E fee for danger rooms is instantly covered by any radiants you get, which cost 14 E each from the supply depot. You could pay the fee, use your emergency revive, then use a spark and a single radiant is STILL worth more. I always prefer to take Tunnel levels over anything but arenas, and never do compounds since there are usually about 2 boxes there.

Grinding crowns, trading for energy and just buying the crystals may be the best way if you're not sick of FSC yet. 10,000cr + 3,000 tokens + 2,000 mats = 15k/run = ~230 E = ~16 radiants for about an hour of your time.

Also, if you can find a good group for danger missions, that's an adequate way to get radiants while also getting a respectable number of crowns.

Usually...

Usually the standard daily prestige missions can yield Radiant Fire Crystals on the second depth of the mission, as that's where I've been getting most of mine from so far. I am talking about the missions like "Hazardous Heist" or "Nature of the Beast", though the danger missions probably yield a higher chance, especially if you complete them successfully on Advanced or Elite.

When I get more time on my hand, Arcade runs are a go-to-it for getting them, as they usually spawn from Depths 25 and lower, with a slight chance of coming from any Depth 24 Danger Rooms or Treasure Vaults.

I used to do Vanaduke runs for the Radiants, but nowadays I just buy 10 off the Auction House so I can forge my gear at least up to level 3. I currently only have 4 5* items that are level 5 or higher, with one of them being a level 9 Leviathan Blade that I was just about to master until the forging system was implemented. Probably one more floor of "Shadow of the Beast" and it would've been at level 10. >.>

Do you open up Danger Rooms?
This run was with just 1 DR open, we could have opened 2 others but decided to pass because they were both puppy rooms.

I am still of the opinion that a level editor would be the best possible thing for Spiral Knight's future.

The best thing for the future of Spiral Knights is to restrict each variety of Fire Crystal to each of the six individual stratums. I farm the lower half of Tier 3 for Radiant Fire Crystals, not Shining Fire Crystals. >_>
