You cross the one-way barrier and you forgot to forge heat your weapons.
"having ghost dreams of old heating system"
Could be as rich as Cozma if I could sell my 4000+ shining fire crystals.
You cray cray paintool.
That Feeling When...
You finally complete the Shadow lair but forget to pickup its material...
You complete your first blind DFSC/UFSC by yourself and develop a searing hatred for howlitzers after your smooth deathless run becomes a trainwreck.
...you...
"Could be as rich as Cozma if I could sell my 4000+ shining fire crystals."
Also, the feeling when you realize that using a Max damage Blitz charge with a boost from a Maskeraith's Deadly Shadow Cloak on Vana after he's been poisoned by a Poison Vial and has no defence because of a Recon Knight does 600+ damage per bullet. And the Blitz charge has 15 bullets.
The most stressful times I've had in the Clockworks relate to spotting a place where you have to guess wheter to hit or not hit the ghost blocks to get the treasures within a party. Quite often I don't have the proper time to order my teammates to stop completely and allow the situation to be analyzed first before it becomes a gruesome hit-or-miss rush.
Not as aggravating is when the treasure boxes are clearly in sight but absent-mindedness makes a fool out of whoever breaks the loot.
When you tag an enemy with 10 catalyzer charges and then some vog/skolver/chaos clone comes and brandishes it to death before you can detonate it.
When you go to use your autogun on the frozen trojan and some vog/skolver/chaos clone comes and brandishes it in the back and frees it.
When your haze bomb doesn't afflict something with the status by some rng miracle.
When you put a bomb down to break some boxes and some vog/skolver/chaos clone breaks them before your bomb goes off, rather than going for the boxes that your bomb doesn't cover.
When you're shivving have to use a pill and some vog/skolver/chaos clone decides to shoot Vanaduke in the half a second he won't get frozen, and he dashes.
When you hit someone witha sudaruska three times and then turn around and two-hit you with a faust in half the time.
Radiants.
When a split shadow weapon does more dps against undead than your normal-damage weapon.
When you plant a pepperbox charge in a lumber's face and they don't get set on fire and survive with less than a pixel of health bar.
When a drone goes back into invincimode with less than a pixel of health bar.
Seraphynx ray invincitinks.
Barrier invincitinks.
Shard bomb Invincitinks.
You realise how long your post about bad things is and think why am I playing this game
When you realize that all the "vanguards" on your team act just like apprentices in the fact that they never shield and all die, leaving you the knight elite- champion to finish the level.
When all the players in your Built to Destroy run all "MUST" hit the switches...
When everyone but you brings elemental weapons to a Robo rampage when there is guaranteed gremlins at the end.
When you realize that you cannot kill two gremlin menders, a knocker, and a thwacker because all you have are elemental weapons. Bonus points if you're in an arena.
This happened to me. It was before Sprites, so I couldn't use my sprite. I had a WRH and an AoA.
When you realize you can kill two gremlin menders, a knocker, and a thwacker with only one elemental weapon - the Venom Veiler.
When you take your newly-crafted shivermist buster into the vanaduke fight
... You are in an undead arena and a gremlin mender shows up.
On the same boat, when the same thing happens above and you have a recon flare. Ever kill a gremlin mender with a rocket hammer that was deathmarked?
... You dodge in lockdown but the message doesn't reach the server in time so you get killed mid-dash.
... You find that recipe from Basil and put it in the cart but forget to click the checkout button and realize your mistake in Haven.
... Someone walks into a rocket, and the explosion radius kills you.
... You try to protect someone in your angelic aura and they run out, immediately getting downed.
... You place down your heart attack while low on health, and die before any of the marked enemies drop any hearts.
some enemies spawn outside of a danger room, which makes you trapped forever inside the danger room
That actually happened to me before...
...When you forget to wait half an hour for the arena and receive nothing worthwhile from the entire run due to compounds/decon zone.
@Pi
Well that's just a matter of calling the GMs.
You get inflicted with a status, use a remedy, then immediately get inflicted with the same status.
@Fehzor That feeling when you call the GMs and you have to wait a long time because you're on the testing server and they are not on it at the time so you die from rockets over and over again out of boredom as you wait for them, even though you should probably restart the run
... you realize the audio cue you heard wasn't from using a Pill/Remedy, but from pressing the button. How many times I got confused, thinking I would be safe, only to find myself dead 2 fire-ticks later? ARGH.
Oh, it was on the testing server? That's unfortunate... at least it doesn't really count and you can just go up and restart?
You see three Ice Queens in one picture.
This thread seem talking about some regrets and forgets about something important... o_o
That feeling when..
You get caught in a game of tennis with some lumbers.
Silversap freeze.
Getting sniped with a chair from off screen.
Grievers.
Shock status.
Getting killed from someone elses shock status.
No enemies on screen, go to use the bathroom and come back to a zombie trotting on your corpse.
Someone nukes the puddle of oil you're standing in with Firebolt.
When you realize this game brings you more pain than anything.
You realize you're a masochist for still playing this.
... this appears in your screen. Made even more awesome that it was in my 1st try <3
That feeling when you open a lot of green and red treasure boxes and most of them contained nothing but air and confetti. ._.
...someone ninja kills you while capping.
...the enemy team camps your base.
...you take a shot and find you have no beer/cola/pepsi/whatever.
...the enemy team is made up of pros and you're stuck with nubs.
...a haze bomber appears out of nowhere.
...you're a haze bomber and you get combolocked.
...the entire team is made of strikers.
...you see someone praise Contri.
...you're in the same game as Contri.
...I post.
Also, take a shot every time I mention Lockdown.
Because I have quite a lot of animosity towards it and Contri.
Back for thrice, knyack.
That feeling when someone friends you and you both never speak to eachother, not knowing how to start a conversation.
That feeling when you get a Cool Wolver tail from a lockbox.
That feeling when someone you've been friends with and haven't talked to since you added them joins your game out of nowhere asking for 25k for his Acheron.
That feeling when you tell him you only have 3k. and he leaves, bu if he would have stayed he would of seen the 9k you got from the run.
That feeling when you delete this "friend"
That feeling when:
-The game is going to reboot right after you start a Shadow Lair with your key.
-When you activate a Mecha Knight or Energy Turret, then watch it get blown away before they could even shock something.
-On the other hand, when you activate a Mecha Knight and it survives longer than you did.
-When Cradle trolls you by switching out a Depth 28 Normal Beast themed arena at the last second.
-When the thing that replaced that arena is a Depth 28 Shock Fiend themed compound.
-When someone invites you to the Arcade, and when you join it is the Arcade FSC.
-When you open 4 Energy Gates with a bunch of red boxes that give you air. Then break a normal green box and get 3 Eternal Orbs.
You get on the elevator after a boss run, and you realize that somehow you didn't pick up the tokens.
