Hey Guys!
Its Goldeneman here and today I will be bringing my first competition to your lovely face :) I call it TOP 5 SKILLS (of the week/month). This is where you can go out, record and show off your awesome skills ,in lockdown, for the chance to win amazing prizes and get shouted out on my YouTube channel at Goldeneman1. This is something that I want to try out and if it goes well, then expect to see more, but if it doesn't go well, then POOF!. Your footage will be used in the video

So here is how it will work

1) Record yourself in lockdown
You could uses programs like Fraps, Bandicam, Ezvid and much more!

2) You send In your footage
Most email providers may not allow you to send more than 25 MG of data, but if your does, please send. If your doesn't you could send it through Dropbox or Google Drive to goldenevents1@yahoo.co.uk. When you do send it in, please notify in the email or description at what part (eg 08:40-09:20) is your best part

If you can’t use Google Drive or Dropbox, then you could always just upload it to YouTube and send me a link at goldenevents1@yahoo.co.uk to edit it up.

3) Make sure you subscribe!
Make sure you subscribe here https://www.youtube.com/user/Goldeneman1 because this is where I will be uploading your awesome footage

So it’s time for THE RULES! :O

~Only one video can be sent every time I open up the event
~By sending in your video, you are agreeing that your knight will be put on YouTube
~All weapons and gear are allowed
~ Is not Auto Target/ Auto Aim!
~ Do not add any funky effects to your footage

I think I'll pass. I'd try something like an epic fight using Cautery Sword in T2 LD but eh, too hard to do it well with gamepad and no AT :P
I don't usually record my games so I don't think I'll come up with anything else. Sure, I could do a clip where I wreck someone with my standard stuff but that's way too boring. Creativity is king.

What? No. When did I say that? I'm just saying that something I'd like to do is not possible for me to do because of your rules, as I am incapable of producing a high accuracy with Brandishes without AT while playing with a gamepad, which I typically do.

GJ mate but you need to mix those sound levels better, I couldn't tell what you were saying half the time. Dunno what editor you use but you could try putting a gate on the music so it lowers when you talk, compressing your voice track to get rid of peaks (your intro & countdowns were too loud), bumping the high freqs to make your voice clearer. Maybe get a good mic and a pop shield too if you want to bump up your "production values".

I have very sensitive hearing due to an ear problem and stuff like youtube videos tend to set it off for me. Not to be a pain in the arse or anything, just suggestions for next time maybe. I've watched most of the videos so far and like the whole idea of showcasing epic loackdown moments (more so than certain other vids merely showcasing beating up on noobies for 50k damage), so please keep doing more videos! Maybe I'll try capping some footage myself for you but I record at lowest possible settings you don't expect me to help boost your "production values". :D

Thanks for the feedback :) Around the time I was making this video, I had a problem with my microphone and I didn't know why. Eventually I tested things out and from now I'm gonna use Audiocity to record my voice overs rather then using Windows Recorder. I have 3 mics at the moment. My laptop one which is bad, my desk one which is kinda breaking and my headset one which is the best. For now I will stick to my headset one, but I do hope to get a good one (BLUE SNOWBALL! :0) as time goes on. Again thanks for the feedback and good luck with your entry :)
