Blitz Needle and Deadly Crystal Bomb supposedly.

Saw the new bomb was pure Ele damage, got excited.
But then notice the damage bar on the tool tip is shorter than Nitro/DBB/DR

That sickening feeling when you find out its the freakin' DCB.

This is totally unacceptable!...Let me tell you OOO, not everyone who plays your game is a 13 year old girl who loves to play "dress up" and stand in front of the ah admiring themselves. Some of us enjoy actually playing the game and fighting bosses etc... i find it completely unacceptable that you have spent your time re-coloring existing weapons and cramming outfit items that would even make Liberace sick into boxes for people to spend their money on. The gunner update was promised 6 months ago and you currently have a perfectly working version of this update that needs 0 changes in spite of the few whiny people that are afraid they will have to learn a new talent in lock down or join the ranks of the less fortunate. Stop with the shameless cash grabs and release the gunner update already!!!! Furthermore NEW content means exactly that...NEW...not re-working existing content to persuade people into thinking you are hard at work restructuring the game. If it sounds like i am angry that is exactly the image i am trying to portray. I have hung on these last few months sinking hundreds of dollars into this game in hopes the update would happen, just to be disappointed week after week. Remember the 13year old girl demographic you have recently targeted has 0 money except for what their parents give them and i assure you it is not enough to pay the bills.

But... I like to play dress up and stand in front of the AH admiring myself. Anyone who has seen me ingame could tell you that!

Maybe that is why I'm perfectly fine with nonstop promos and Prize Boxes.

Why? It's THEIR money, they can do whatever they want with it. You have no right to tell them how to play the game. Don't like the update? Ignore it and play something else, nobody's forcing you to keep playing or buy things.

If you actually calm down and think, the Gunner update was discovered late last year in the test server files as JUST RESKINS
So from there Nick and OOO listened to the community (Fehoz/Zeddy) with our rants about reskin Polaris blah blah.

SO therefore a WHOLE NEW System was created for guns and if do so do look into the test server now, it's all been revamped to a new system of Advance Gunning.

I'm looking forward to this gunner update as much as everyone is but please do give the developers time and Support them instead of just yelling in their face. A LOT of bugs are with this new coding as me as knowing some coding it can be REALLY frustrating.

Not one day where someone complains and balls their little eyes out. Can we?

Y'know, the art team could just as easily just twiddle their thumbs, their part of the job is over, they don't need to make new content like this. But im sure that they are doing this to:
A) Get a bit more money in their pockets, which goes to making the game better. So the "sad bunch" that are still buying them, (like me) are supporting the game, without that "sad bunch" do you really think this game would still be going at least kinda strong? Probably not.

B) They are trying to hold back the gates us content hungry people that have been waiting for the gunner update for about more than a year. And are feeding us little snipits of stuff for the past few months to hold us over.

TL;DR don't be ungrateful. It could be much worse. You don't like it? Leave.

I'll tag alone with the complainers. I'm gonna throw whatever thought I still have about this game in reply of the few comments I've read.

Saying OOO has more art coders to be the reason why we get reskin promos and the such in mass is a fallacy of an argument. The fact a dev team is unbalanced somehow doesn't allow for spamming promos in such a shamefull way, they could just wait to get their team on par with their development needs, and in the mean time not release anything at all. Also, if you ask me the designers did a terrible job on the reskinned weapons.

We can't have a day without complainers, heh? How about opening your eyes to the reality, we have a game we pretty much all loved in some way or we wouldn't be here on this forum would we, and we see it is going down the road a bit more every day, if people enjoy their game to be transformed in some pathetic dress-up fest, fine, heck I was kind of a fashion victim myself, but allow for people to be astonished at how accessories have esssentially taken over the game. It's indeed a pathetic sight to see people in the hundreds posing in front of the auction house for hours, yes hours, doing absolutely nothing but admire themselves in often missmatched costumes, the public chat being spammed with convos about cosmetic items, and trade chat about trading cosmetic items or the last few sensed players leaving and getting tf2 keys.

Also, to everyone using the usual pathetic reply, "if you don't enjoy leave", let me clear this once and for all. You might enjoy yourself in a dictated life where you're always faced with two choices, to either stay and be silent or leave, but people, like myself and many others here, have been growing with ideals where humans have been taught to express their reflexions about what is going on, even bad ones, this is how the better societies get to grow. I will return you the favour, if you don't like negative criticism, leave the forum, duh duh.

I read the gunner update is actually about more than reskins, oh my, having been in the last testing session, this update is still about reskins I'm sorry to say, a couple of very basic tweaks (some of which are completely broken, brace yourselves for the massive complaints if they keey it that way) won't do the tricks for me. This was just yet another dissapointment to have waited that long for so little and [no personal attacks please].

This game is basically dying, takes a blind man to not see it, the playerbase is thiner than ever, and the players ingame are often not even playing the game except on the occasional events and Lockdown.

I could say so much more, but I'll keep it at that for now.

I have friends that are guys and girls that have played this game way more then a year and a half and what do we do now?
Dress up and make a little community group having a laugh and chat every now and again.

Do you know the concept of an MMO?
Most of it is being individual and that said can be pretty hard, but this is where the costumes come in, this is how you are portrayed in game.

We have the right to complain, and don't mock others as losers just because they have different opinion as you, it is offensive. This forum is a free land, where people can express their opinions without ppl like you or Fehzor to shame on them and make them feel bad, when there is positive there will always be negative, just like how when there is light, there will also be darkness, where would this forum be without a diverse group of different personalities? No where, we will either be a group of whiners or OOO cheerleaders at best.

Tbh OOO are doing an excellent job with all these reskins. Adds great value to Spiral Knights for sure. Hope you guys keep funding all the hard work these artists are putting in. I really mean this. Honestly. Your money and OOO artists are keeping this game alive for us.

Which stupid company would bother paying more staff to code and implement new gameplay mechanics/content if they are making decent profit on their art department with all these awesome reskins. It's a no brainer to me.

I for one, would like to see the Spiral Soakers firing animation, and see if it just shoots the same golden needles as a blitz. Then i can facepalm all the way...ehrm, somewhere. i'll go somewhere.

I'm very satisfied with the Shadow Splash Sarong. Very satisfied, It's one of the few set pieces since the Storm Set that I've actually wanted from a box.

The reskins are nice and festive as well, hiss.

I won't lie, I'm dying for some playthrough content right now, but at the very least they're showing us they're interested with the lore fixes, miniboss additions, and the other little knicknacks.

But with the gunner preview launched, and "a rather stylish bodysuit" , I'm mildly entertained for a bit longer.

Plus Helios came online and had a water balloon fight with Haven 3.

So, fun times, hiss.
