Splashy thoughts

Well, I want Cherub's glowing shield bracelet more than ever now (not the stats, just the looks - stats could very well be indicated by the color of the bracelet --- like shadow = purple --- but I'd prefer the whole thing be prismatic, really). This would balance out this diving ring toy on the wrist of my new splashy costume nicely. And also be amazing, in general.

Bash animation for all of these: tidal surge, you look like a high-speed motorboat on the move, congratulations!
=== "Diving Ring" === Water Category: any
Cherub's Shield bracelet, modified to look like a diving ring toy (so it matches perfectly in shape and position with the diving rings of the Splash costumes, mirrored on the other wrist), with appropriate stats:
Freshwater: elemental/piercing, curse, fire resistance (light blue), grants MSI boost: low. Flow like the river!
Saltwater: elemental/normal, curse, poison resistance (dark blue), grants CTR boost: low. The deeps don't need long to gather up and smash things.
Magicwater: elemental, curse, shock resistance (Prismatic). Shield bashing cures the user of curse status. Magic and water, life prevails somehow.
Muckwater: elemental/shadow, curse, sleep resistance (dark greenish black). Grants DMG boost: low. Swamp water is another kind of magic all together...
*The raw defenses of these are sub-par, considering their various combat boosts. They are 3* limited shields, like Swift Strike Buckler.
*All of these bracelets except the Magicwater have a shock penalty.
*All of these bracelets cure the user of fire status (if the level of the fire status is below STRONG) if you bash with them.
*Obvious behavior: water resists and/or cures curse.
===Riptide Buckler=== Water Category: any
Shield made of water...picture this: a forcefield ring, and inside it's just water sloshing around like it does in that adorable Spiral Soaker gun. Probably about the size of 2* Jelly Shield or Swiftstrike Buckler (cause that's adorable). This shield would have a shock penalty, but significant resistances against elemental and piercing attacks. Basically like the dragon scale shield, but different status resistances:
Poison, Curse
*perhaps the bash's wake could cure squad mates of curse status, if they're in the AoE of the bash.
Or just make this a reskin of the dragon scale shield, whatevs.
===Surfboard===
Alternate appearance of Riptide Buckler: surfboard. ( Water Category: Fun in da Sun+Deep ). Size of ancient plate shield? When you bash, you ride it.
==Swords==
==="Leviathan Blade"=== Water Category: Deep
Rename the current "leviathan blade" to "Azure Broadsword."
Introduce a "leviathan blade" that has very watery effects. Perhaps the spinning charge attack could suck things in like a whirlpool, instead of slamming them all out. GL getting out of your own whirlpool! Vortex bombs detonate after you're out of the way, usually. So this blade would take significant skill to use properly, but be fun I think.
==="Sliver of Scylla"=== Water Category: Deep
This sinister blue+black blade (appearance= Striker sword) constantly drips dark, almost black water (like the DVS does). Its 5* version summons multiple snake-like heads, like the Wild Hunting Blade does with its golden pack of red-eyed wolvers. the snake heads make watery hissing noises, instead of barking :P. This sword's speed is on parallel with a striking serpent, and its power is only a small tribute to the Greek Myth it's named after. The charge attack has a small chance to cause curse on only the final swipe. (Curse coming from Amphitrite's in the relevant Greek Myth).
dmg: shadow
==Bombs==
==="Maw of Charybdis"=== Water Category: Deep
a watery vortex bomb. Same dmg/type as the electron vortex, but it doesn't inflict shock. Very small chance to inflict curse at the end (curse coming from the Zeus part of the relevant Greek Myth). You can see small bits of teeth in its detonation...Perhaps even some swimming shark fins, to add comedy.
alternative dmg: shadow. But there's already two 5* vortex bombs which deal shadow...and I really want to keep the curse on this puppy. So we can have elemental types with curse proc, if they're associated with water, imo.
===Weapons in Conjunction===
This would be rather special. If two or more players have both the "Maw of Charybdis" and "Sliver of Scylla" weapons in play:
if both players use the charge attack within 5 tiles of each other, the area between them becomes extremely hazardous for enemies - they become "afraid," as if aware of the dangers of choosing either scylla or charybdis. "Afraid" would be a sort of "status" that causes enemies to lose agro, and run away like fraidy-cats- sometimes you see chromalisks and menders do this. They'd get those sweat drops a knight gets when a knight is close to a Grimalkin in Candlestick Keeps. This running away usually results in them running right into either the blade or the bomb.

let us play in the fountain. We might break the fountain mechanisms, but the snipes can fix that, right?

Water Category: Freshwater+Fun in da Sun
Pool - this is a room. You can splash in the pool. It's not a theme park pool, though, more like a jungle pool or ocean hideaways - lots of sand and rocks, ferns around. Water comes out of a constantly flowing waterfall (waterfall is same height as the fireplace+chimney in the Hunter Lodge). Perhaps a sleeping chromalisk sunbathing over a rock in the corner. 2-3 green trees (the ones you find in jelly farm, etc). Looks more natural.

Pool-this is a room. Theme park pool. It has a slide. wee.
Water Category: any
Pool - this is a room. Hot Tub. Lots of Steam (hint? Steam? Valve? haha?). And no hot tub time machine travel.
I had fun once. I drowned.
Water Category: Fun in da sun
Umbrellas/parasols, towels, buckets+shovels, all that stuff, you know it - GH furnitures.
Water Category: Deep
shells, sunken ship wreckage, treasure chests...
Water Category: Freshwater
For non-ocean (more like playing in a wide river on a sunny day, or a freshwater lake):
ferns, rocks, small pools, waterfall that's about the same size as an Ancient Bookcase (water seems to just..disappear into floor. Game logic).
Water Category: Freshwater
FSC sprite fountains so I can throw water at my fellow guildies.

Hints of Deep Sea Cuirass and Jaws of Megalodon, please. Lore+teasers.
== Thoughts ===================================================================================
All of these are smaller subjects related to having "fun in the sun." Though many are more applicable to more specifically themed promotions.

Curse is a special status, and although I want more of it, so far we only have shadow sources deal curse damage (other than maybe darkfire vanaduke). It's probably best if curse stays a shadow-related status.
But on another note, we need the water droplets in FSC to make players/enemies hit by the water/in its radius be all dripping, like the water balloons do.

Moar curse and purple things plx.
Regarding the FSC water - perhaps. I'd be all for that dripping effect in places like OCH/C42/GP, but if you think about what FSC is, and what sprite water is, it's not normal water at all. Very adamant fire, and very magical water.
It could drip on players/trojans/jellies/wings etc, anything that isn't a slag :D
I've gone in and put the watery things into different categories: "fun in the sun", "deep", "freshwater" (shallow lakes and rivers), "any". "Deep" is only ocean so far, but it can also be applied to very deep freshwater or glacial lakes.
