I know there already exist an option for graphics = low, but it doesn't make much of a difference. Is it possible to make the options to kill more of the useless things, like make the background a solid black instead of a blurry faraway clockwork field? or just have boxes dissapear when attacked instead of the broken down animation? also there's the unnecessary falling snow in the ice zones. Can players have the freedom to set all of these down? it'll help greatly with the lag. thanks.
I'd love this-the game doesn't seem to handle many effects at once very well. Being able to tone down the effects a few more levels would be very helpful; I know this because certain levels, like Treasure Vaults and the Jigsaw Valley areas, have no loss of framerate and extremely low delay in comparison to other levels.
It would be very beneficial to be able to turn off the area-related effects, like snow in ice levels, or lightning and cloud movement in shock levels. A very, very lag-inducing problem is the abundance of torches and flame effects-being able to freeze those animations as well would help a lot. If that wouldn't be possible, I'd like to see the code optimized so it causes much less lag-I've seen bullet curtain games that play at a stable framerate even when hundreds of things are happening at once, so it SHOULD be possible.
