You heard me.

I mean a miniscule amount of loot and no materials. And, this loot would scale down as the monsters kept respawning, so it wouldn't technically be infinite loot. No, this doesn't mean mini-royals would drop loot.

The reason why this change wouldn't wreck the game is because play is unlimited. I could get crowns faster by skipping the spawn pads, but then I would get something for killing the stuff that comes off them. (Thinking of the final battle before Roarmulous Twins.)

"miniscule amount"

Define "miniscule amount".

um

i see no problem with the original spawns dropping loot but infinite respawns are generally just there to be annoying and distract you, if they drop loot it kinda defeats the purpose since you actually achieve something by defeating them, however miniscule

hmm

perhaps they could have a higher chance of dropping hearts than other monsters (especially if HA from seraphynx is used)? Since re-spawners are just that...meat shields. Makes sense for them to be made of yummy hearts.

Also, generally agree, since elevator fees are a thing of the past, and actually playing levels gets you more loot, and faster, anyway.

Fighting without obvious reward is extremely depressing for most players.

EDIT: also heat yes. Cause it's combat effort, isn't it? And because of the way the forge works, you can't abuse infinite heat (also, again, elevator fees are gone).

Maybe just hearts and heat and pickups, no cr/mats?
