Just a quick little thought that crossed my mind after I went into Operation Crimson Hammers lobby and spoke with Vice. He says he has a history with Seerus..

Perhaps Punch and Vise used to be members of the Crimson Order themselves. I don't particularly remember much in the story about them (other then a brief introduction), but feel as if it could be a possibility.

Since the gremlins want Haven gone, I think punch and vise would tell the knights, because they (punch and vise) also inhabit Haven.

Woah. Wait up.

I just replayed the mission 4-1 "Let's go shopping again" and noticed this little tidbit about Punch and Vise that I hadn't seen before.

Has "King Tinkinzar" ever been mentioned again? Is King Tinkinzar the leader of the Crimson Order? I'm going to go investigate Emberlight and see if there are any more clues... EDIT: Nothing of storyline interest in Emberlight.

EDIT: I do not doubt that they are not currently members of Crimson Order. I am interested in knowing what their relationship is with Seerus and the order was in their past.

EDIT2: Further research has landed me on the wiki page for King Tinkizar. Apparently he is the leader of the Crimson Order, and is often referred to as "The Architect". Interesting stuff.

I've also noticed...

King Tinkinzar is hardly mentioned in the story.

Is that hinting towards a potential new boss at some point...?

Not to be rude, but we've known about King Tinkinzar since Spiral Knights came out. Pretty sure Bootshuze tells you about him and Bootshuze has been around since the beginning of SK

I'm aware he's been around

I'm aware he's been around for a long time.

It's just the recent heavy influence on the Crimson Order in the storyline (To be honest, before these changes it didn't feel nearly as geared towards finding out more about the Crimson Order, etc etc) that has brought this into my research.

Some newer players might have forgotten about the mentioning of it, since it literally only shows up once or twice in the storyline.

Not only that, it interests me that Kora just talk about it so non-chalant...

I feel as if Punch/Vise were giving information about the Crimson Order, as ex-members.

With the new changes to the

With the new changes to the boss endings, especially the area after the Roarmulus twins, I think they are starting to push the Crimson Order into the storyline, possibly for some new upcoming conetent. I always figured that King Tinkinzar would be somewhere in the sealed off core, hence not many gremlins actually seeing him.

As for Punch and Vise, I think there may be more to the story, seeing as they b̶l̶e̶w̶ ̶u̶p̶ ̶V̶a̶t̶e̶l̶'̶s̶ ̶s̶h̶o̶p̶ were simply in Vatel's shop it when it exploded.

When ever I think of the great colony...

...I think of a bunch of furry little gremlins jogging on some massive wheel. And they look pretty adorable.

Perhaps it was before the Order's existence and they were in the army. Maybe Tinkzar's predecessor was in charge at the time. Vise does seem especially old...

I think Tinkzar is loco, sitting a thrown chatting with his swarm assistant.
