My Idea was to get a Sword that could be accustomed to your fighting style. For example You would go to a Weaponsmith, and there would be an option for speed, power or neutrality. there would also be a selction for element and effects. maybe how it looks if they are that tech savvy

You could have a certain balance, such as 5 attack, 5 speed, and if you went over that, it would cost money.
For leveling, the more level 1 damage, the higher. the damage potential would cost too, but maybe half as much.
And the elements would require materials too. As for the looks, just have a large array of hilts and blades with color options to mix and match.
Maybe add quest to upgrade it like

I'd love to have this in much, much more than 'unique variants'. Even if what you make doesn't have a huge impact on the stats, it'd be awesome if something like this could be made in the stead of UVs. I.E, pay extra or use more materials during crafting to ensure a bonus, even more to choose what the bonus is, and at a huge price the level of the boost (low, medium, high, etc.).
This would be perfect for people who have way too many crowns. Yes, crowns, not energy. Of course, the current system could stay the same, but I absolutely hate the fact that there's no way to ensure you get a bonus-it's like gambling, it is. You either keep buying energy to fill the developers' pockets, or stick with your equipment that could be better but isn't. It almost seems unfair-sure, it's a way to get money, but honestly, even if it's a minor part of equipment, every bit counts, especially in Tier 3 and shock/fire arenas (Dunno how many times I've died from shock. :|). In order to feel like you've actually got the best stuff, like you're at the peak, you have to keep gambling.
Full support from me, because this is seemingly the perfect alternative to unique taunts-er, variants.
You can already create a customized weapon, via UVs (Unique Variants). But the current system requires "ragecrafting" (making large quantities of an item to get one with a randomly chosen UV that you actually like).
Personally, I'd *love* to be able to choose which UV mods appeared on an item. But I'm not holding my breath waiting for Three Rings to implement such a system - the energy drain involved in ragecrafting represents a very large sink for CE, and they make money from selling that CE to players...
