Hi, many of you don't know me but I've been playing this game for a fairly long time.

I'm here today to tell you about a simple do & don't if you join a guild:

Do: take what you need out of Guild Storage. NOTHING MORE.

Don't: take ALL the 5* and many 4* materials out of storage and then leave the guild.

We're a fairly generous yet small guild, so those materials were very valuable to us. Quite a few members of our guild actually needed those materials badly, and now, because of your selfishness, they don't have what they need.

Seerusly people, what on Cradle is hard to understand about this?

Put in a support request and the GMs should handle things.

Hope he gets banned.

I hope the offending party gets banned, then writes a pleading "I'm Sorry" note to the GMs for them to laugh at.

Im Here With Purpose

mhm... Agreed

I have been playing the game for over 3 years now, little less then that i started a guild witch is one of oldest, yet smallest guilds today.
Its special kind of guild tho, dedicated to helping and takeing care of newer players.
over the time i have went trough with over 50 people. dosnt sound much? maybe not to you... but im not the type of guy who holds 200 people guild, we all know how those work... half is never online, other half rarely plays. and out of whole bunch there may be 20 people actualy doing something....

people i take care of are rare of the bunch, ones that actualy enjoy the game for what it is. each and every one of them is a great friend of mine, as i was with them from the moment they set foot in haven, until they became vanguards, good part of them is still here today, but i wouldnt be able to pull everything off if i was sorounded by people that where looking for a way to scam me, or the guild.

my advice is that you have trusty people around you, and decide who is fitting to join in and who isnt, dont do things like promotions to instant officer just coz someone is your friend. make few simple rules, do what you can to help. and if they are to get high ranks in guild, you need to earn eachothers trust. make them feal like they deserve their rank. Offer help but dont serve everything they need on silver plate. take minecraft as example.. the reson why people enjoy it its becose of effort neaded to create their buildings and do stuff around the game. just claping your hands and haveing giant castle apair in front of you for you to use... wont do the trick.. you will get boared of it soon enough. now put this into guild and leadership and you should have easier time
i know i heavent had dificultys with my guild members in thise 3 years. just takes some time and will..

sorry for my terrible spelling

Agreed. We take in people who are also in need of help leveling up (which is how I originally joined almost a year ago) but we mostly take in friends. Ironically enough, this was just a stranger we took in. We've never had a problem with personal friends in the guild, but this is probably the first time we've ever been in this certain predicament.

@Shien-Ryu
I hope so too. This is extremely disrespectful.

Not all people are trusworthy over the internet. Although it is kinda your guilds fault for putting trust into "random players". It's a good idea next time to see if players will make smart decisions in the future.

Ustrina - I think Orbwanter

Ustrina - I think Orbwanter meant Game Masters, not guild masters. File a report in-game with /complain and explain what happened.

It sucks not being able to trust people with guild storage, but I might recommend keeping higher-level materials in higher levels of guild storage, and only promoting people who seem more trustworthy. In our guild, everybody stays as a recruit for at least a week first, once we get to know them a bit more and know they're a pretty cool person, then promotions begin. If somebody starts asking for promotions immediately, that's kind of a big red flag.

Guild storage

They should have made guild storage so that instead of being able to withdraw any mats you want, when you use the Guild crafting station it will supply you with mats from guild storage if you missing previously said mats for the recipe.

And as for gear they should be like rental gear.

It cost quite a bit 4000ce to unbind a 5* piece of gear and you wouldn't even be able to use it unless your high enough rank and if you are you could just buy the said item (unless it's boss or event) for 3500ce.

So weapon rental could work and you could only borrow a single item from guild storage at a time so you don't have a entire set of shared gear equipped.

sorry for the suggestion but I'd really like to see this implemented.

Just throttle the allocations

What my own guild does is limit how much is in member and vet, and keep the rest in officer.
We keep 5 to 10 of everything in member and vet, pet food being vet+, and usually copies over 5 in officer. We've had stuff stolen before and so far if someone tries to steal, they'll only get a minor fraction of what's held. We allow storage use, as it's a worthy cause for weeding out untrustworthy people.

@Addy

I usually leave those matters to the Guild Master and he says he's already sent a request. I should probably send a follow-up though just in case. We both have already sent complaints, but I'm going to fill out a Support ticket right now.

@Lonely-Tear
My IGN is the same as here

@Rekkusu
I.... actually love this idea! You should go put that in the Suggestions forum! We never put anything above 2* gear in member storage, mostly just stuff from trying to craft on UV's. We wouldn't put Rarities or pet food in either, but we will craft or help hunt for such things on request.

@Petater
I'll pass this along to my GM. This is a much better idea than what we currently do now.
