It's fairly common (except the scarf)
But maybe that's a good thing for you if so many people like the look.
Damnit, I just finished making it in spiralspy and you go and post screenshots. you didn't state your personal colour and I couldn't for the life of me find the shadow scarf, but there's side shots in there too: http://puu.sh/92D7X.png
I dunno. It's looks "OK" but honestly, to me it just looks like one of those costumes rich people throw together to show "HEY I'M RICH"
7/10.
It's not bad, but its a common look.

The helm and armor do not match no matter which way you look at it, the colour schemes are a clash of Shadow and Dusky with a bit of Frosty. On paper, it sounds like a mess. The Cat Tail and Wings mesh well with the Snarby Coat, so long as you ignore all the clipping issues that just seem to be standard. Crown and Crest of Winter could very well be replaced with something that is more complimentary for the overall aesthetics. Otherwise, this is just another one of those costumes mashed together for the sake of saying "LOOK AT MY MONEY". But, to that effect, it's not outstandingly bad. While the colour scheme does not match, it does not create a displeasing visual. Just, a mediocre one.
Overall... 6/10.
The problem is that snarby is blue-black, black and red, and that black kat cowl is dark purple and green. The more recent shadow items aren't black and red, but that offset dark grey and black and blue-black kind of scheme which works alrightish with snarbolax and occasionally well with black kat cowl. Overall, it kind of works and they're all "close enough", but it still looks patched together in a bad way.
The crown of winter/crest of winter are cool items, but they don't fit very well into the colour scheme.. think of them as being like the red in snarbolax, but frosty themed instead. For your look to really work, you'd want for the red in snarbolax to match with the frosty theme from the crown of winter... and it just comes across as being forced.
Black kat is really a hard item to work into your outfits though, mostly because you need an armor that fits the dusky theme, and that leaves all of chaos and angelic armor and justifier and dread skelly and the new trunks/sarong and a few others, though you can try to force unmatching items into working via accessories.

@Whimsicality no wonder I found my coustume had no color this morning, the game gave it to you. Gimme back my color! >:(
Alas, that isn't a picture of my fine self, but a picture I snuck of another fine fellow. Though I am rather guilty myself of questionable choices.
Just changed it to ultramarine I think it's called. Slightly lighter than the previous blue. :p
Everyone has an opinion so keep that in mind. Personally, I don't like it. Common, colours don't match and I really don't like seeing scarves on the Kat Cowls since they already have scarves. The shadow wings and cat tail look great with the coat but I still think that a Shadow Helm would look better instead of the Cowl. So, not really a fan of that costume.
Edit: I might not respond.

This bothers me almost as much as people who wear a magic hood with Heavenly Iron Armor.
I believe this would be more of General Discussion type thread. Move it maybe?
