I'm not sure if this is a bug or not.

I completed mission 1-2 "The Ancient Generator" on Elite with a newbie friend, but it didn't give me credit for beating the mission on Elite. The silver badge on the mission card never turned gold.

Is this broken? Or will it just not change if it's already been done before?

Did you join in the lobby? I'm not sure what qualifies as the lobby for those missions... but try the first depth.

Whimsicality

Considering it's a mission that you can't typically replay, it should say 'You are not eligible for this mission' or something when you get invited, which is probably why it doesn't update the badge.
