I personally really like the Tomes. I think they look good on Valkyrie equipment.

The tomes are pretty cool. The reskins in red are good for people who..like red more than the gold color i guess?
I dunno. I say i'm not going to buy them, then i buy them to sell, open one, then next thing i know i have 5 pieces of costume equips.
Guess that makes me a hypocrite.
*Shrugs*
I just wish i could put the tomes on an actual cloak. Y'know, to make it look all arcane and stuff.

^That would actually have been a really smart move on OOO's part. Making it to where we can equip frontal things on cloaks again for this update. There are items that have way worse clippage going on, like ice queen and dread skelly and quite a few others.
It's interesting to see a promotion, other than the Rose Regalia, redone like this. The Stormy items were pretty cool to begin with so adding a choice of colours seems like a good idea. While I may not be too interested in any of the costumes, I quite like the look of the new Tome of Rage; I may consider picking up one for myself at some point.
With the Tome of Rage, I assume we can cast dark rituals ALL the time, right? Right?... Please? Magic confirmed? No... I still think that the books are cool though. Not a bad promotion overall, if you ask me.
While I do think that constantly releasing promotions without any real break isn't the best of ideas in the long run, I can't deny that they do look nice.
