Long Sword, Health Pots, Warding Trinket. Build into Vampiric Scepter on your first back early on for the sustain in lane, then rush Bloodthirster. Then get another Bloodthirster. You know what? Three more Bloodthirsters, because boots are for pansies. For your last item, pick up the best item in the game, the Double Red Swords.
Then from there, it's as easy as get dunked get dunked get dunked

Using Polaris limits your ability to evolve as a player and become better. Try Valiance or a Driver instead. Those are actually good and allow you to become better. Or if you're feeling wacky, you could always use Biohazard.

Viable as all classes (though most would just use striker)
Chaos cloak (max shock/freeze/pierce UV), Black kat cowl (max shock/normal/pierce UV)
Storm driver (Max ASI/CTR and dmg vs undead)
Gran Faust (Max ASI and dmg vs slime/gremlin)
Barbarous thorn blade (Max ASI/CTR and dmg vs fiend)
Voltaic Tempest (Max CTR and damage vs construct/undead)
2 true love lockets (because love lockets are better that regular hp trinkets)
"MAX" refers to highest possible UV (whether or not max is possible or just VH). Damage bonuses on weapons are to help with reaching deeper depths faster and collecting radiants

Why would you put piercing UVs on a BKC/Chaos loadout and why would you want monster UVs for a set that is made jsut for LD?

To provide a tiny bit of resist to the most common of weapons in LD. (better than nothing)
To help you gather Radiants faster. (and because after max ctr/asi what else can you get?)
(seeing 3 perfect UVs on 6 items is also a bit of a headgame, scaring your opponents)
You want to get "ALL" the UVs I suggested to make the loadout.

I have seen the link....... It proves that max UVs provide mere digits of damage reduction. (also said you were selling LD gear and you wanted refunds, some other guy complaining about SK not telling us, ETC)
Still a knight at 1% hp is still more dangerous than one at 0%.

Aaaaand sandwich didn't get it either.
The TL;DR of that thread is that in LD, you should wear matched defense.
Your UVs should also compliment the natural defenses of that armor.
Piercing MAX on that BKC you proposed does nothing.
If you want to pimp your BKC, you either go for status resist, or you compliment it with normal+shadow max.
On a side note, I'm selling an ancient plate mail with piercing max for all those of you who still don't get it.

There isn't any "best loadout" for Lockdown. There's just your personal preference on what to use while countering what. That's why you'll see people walking around with tons of loadouts just for Lockdown.

BKC and Shadowsun (Ultra sword + gun dmg, with lesss status penalties than chaos (which has equal offensive boosts in total as striker).
Reason: Strikers are intended for killing enmies over capping IN GENERAL.
Best recon loqddout:
BKC +Mercurial
Reason: Recons are typically scouts or assassins. The MSI med complements the scout aspect, while the bkc complements the stealth assassin aspect. Anyone who is experienced in LD knows dmg > asi IN GENERAL
Best guardian loadout:
Vog Cub/Nameless hat/justifier hat/any bomb ctr helm + ancient plate mail
Reason:
Guards are meant to be tanky to hold down a point. From experience, APM hasthe best defense of any armor, and the extra health fits as well. The helmets are for speed boost for defense, though full ancient may be better.
I am solid on the striker and recon loadouts, since most good players use bkc + the given armors if they hve one. Not so sure on guard, but like all of the other recommendations, without condering the nature of the game and based purely off of armor stats and class utility, full ancient should be best, which obviously it is not.
My 2 cents. Anything with a BKC will be good though, so get one of those.
