Hi. Lesserfruit here. I'm new to forums, so feel free to insult me. I find insults delicious. But off to the topic at hand. I heard a rumour from many steam users that this game is dying a slow, cancerous death. This may very well be true, but I want opinions.
Let's look at the facts:
Delays.
They've delayed the supposed Gunner Update for months now
Every new promo seems to delay it more
Nick left, leaving a supposed unfinished project to rot

No new content.
We've gotten what in the past since the elevators became free? Promo, promo, promo, promo, promo.
Reskins of old weapons are nice, but not terribly fun (Besides Soakers. Who doesn't love taking out Vana with a squirtgun?)

Promos
Nice looking armor that's running out of interest and ideas
Reskins of Storm Costumes (Who thought this one up?)
Proto-themes (Good, but not enough.)
Promo frequency has been complained about, making them feel "less special"

Now, I wanted to clear up one last thing. This thread isn't made to insult the dev team, or cause flame wars of mass destruction from a certain forum troll (You know who you are.) It's also not directed at the game's admins, It's simply here to collect opinions on what this game is, has, and will be. Because let's face it, we don't want OOO/SEGA to pull the killswitch on this game. It's lovely artwork, creative and nice (For the most part) community, and it's amazing moustached slimes. Now, what I don't want to hear is thoughtless comebacks to the thread that insult the game as it is. So no insulting developers or game products. (They try their best, kiddies.)

As for me, I'm not spending a cent until it's garunteed to live as long as I do.

I believe you, when you say that you are new to the forums. Because people have been posting threads like this for at least three years.

It's very simple. If you like the game enough to spend your money, then spend it. If you think that the promos and reskins are not worth your money, then don't spend it. In this way, you are voting with your money. Three Rings will certainly listen to that, even if it doesn't listen to your redundant thread.

Your name matches your post. Yes, I'm new to the forums on this account. Full game time on SK must be at least 2 years. I thought somebody would pick up on that, but I didn't think so quick it would happen.

Oh my gosh, seriously, another one of these threads?

A box promo doesn't delay updates at all. Any promo box is 99% chance to be solely reskins, and that;s usually just it, reskins. All these promo boxes are, is a bunch of palette swaps. Hell, it would take even me a little less than an hour to swap around the primary and secondary colors of an already made armor design. It's not that hard, so don't be complaining that they're wasting time with promos, when the entire art team has probably already finished the skins for the gunner update, were sitting around bored, and decided to make promo gear, that probably took them all of five minutes to do working together.

Well then...

A game is dying in the right eye of a man. But which eye do you look out of? Another game not too far from here still thrives despite many pointless updates and such. Why is this? The people choose for it to live, for they are the ones who run it. Although there are plenty of differences in such titles, it is you, who chooses whether it dies or not. Well, really the giant group of people who can never get along that you are in. So, yeah.
