i make almost 10k per JK run. my friend apparently makes 20k per JK run because he runs with half the people (one other person, 2-person party).
basically, the less people in a party, the more cash? :o
Number of players in a party versus income
I think your friend did the 3 Ice Arenas and then the JK run (Which was only available yesterday since a new gate opened) which earned me a bit more crowns than regular JK runs.
I would suspect the same as sabervolt. Your friend has likely been waiting on the Arenas in the Ice Stratus lead up to the JK for the past week. I've been doing that as well. It has been great for acquiring the right set of potions and it has been wildly profitable for me. You just needed to be patient and wait on the Arena levels to become active for the elevator. Really sorry to see them go as it was a great set up for a JK run on top of the crowns you pull from the JK levels.
are u including selling of mats in the number of crowns u make or just pure crowns from running the dungeon from 9-17
a full arena gives around 2k depending on depth.
and op just made a guess about the income of people duoing the place as far as I understand.
yea bc im thinking from 9-17 is 8 lvls. the first 4 lvls ull make penies on probably 2K ish at most for all four. The last four u should make about 5-6K ish all together. If u hit an arena then maybe more.
The money earned with a party is not divided. Every player gets every crown thats picked up. sauce->http://wiki.spiralknights.com/New_Player_Briefing
Perhaps he is earning more due to the fact that he gets more materials which is randomly split between the party and since he is in a party of two he has a 50% chance of receiving the materials within that group. Therefore a group of four would only have a 25% chance of receiving a material shared within a group.
Otherwise he is just teasing you XD
