There is currently an article "List of References", for tracking stuff such as the fact that Callahan references the Dirty Harry movies. But individual pages of items/monsters/locations also frequently mention these references.

So we're storing the same information in two places. This is inefficient and error-prone. We should standardize on one place: either List of References, or each individual item page, but not both.

Putting reference information on each individual page seems better to me. It gives editors room to explain the reference and relate it to other references (e.g., Triglav vs. Jalovec vs. Grintovec).

To accommodate the readers who want to scan through all of the references in the game, I propose that we create a References category. Each page with reference information (Callahan, Triglav, etc.) would be tagged with this category. Then the listing page for Category: References could replace List of References.
