I guess this is what you call a public thank you letter, directed at the developers, the GMs, Eury, and the entire community.

June 16 2011 turned out to be what one might call a very fateful day for me. I was registering on Steam in preparation for acquiring Terraria because I was kind of bored and had nothing better to do. That day also happened to be the day free to play games were released on Steam. Spiral Knights was one of them and I downloaded it because it seemed like it could be fun.

Since then, I've spent an average of 2.6 hours in Spiral Knights every day, or 2884 hours in total. The way I play has changed a lot since my first few hours. Back then, I usually logged on to use my mist energy and have some fun in the Clockworks. Now I know the Clockworks inside out and I've experienced almost everything the game has to offer. So I log on to interact with the community, to chat with friends, and to hone my skills in Lockdown. Of course, I still do a few runs every once in a while when friends invite me or I have an item to heat.

The part of SK that I appreciate most is not the Clockworks or the runs, though. It's the people. It's the people who frequent the forums, it's my guild, it's the wonderful GMs, and it's most notably my friends. If it weren't for the community, I'd probably have quit Spiral Knights long ago. But I did not. Instead, I've come to know the greatest game community I know of, and I've made lots of great friends. I'll go as far as to call two of them the best friends I've ever had.

So, thank you, everyone. Spiral Knights means so much for me and it wouldn't have been the same without you all.

Eyo, congrats on three years!

Eyo, congrats on three years! It's kind of mind-blowing reaching a milestone like this. I don't think we've ever really talked much but you're a name I've definitely recognized for a long time.

Despite me playing for months longer you have double the playtime as me, ahaha. :'3

Here's to three more years, yeah? :D

Cheers, mate.

A toast to three years?

If I remember correctly, I came about half a year after you. So my anniversary is around December 27...but then again why am I bragging, I should be celebrating with you.

Too bad I don't have any fireworks, or confetti, or bloon buckets. I wish I did.

Oh good! A positive thread in a swamp of negativity. Glad you've stuck around this long, Krakob.

Congrats!

You were one of the most intelligent people on this forum, what with calculating the width of cradle.

And you helped me learn that cradle was not bigger than it seemed...

Thanks for that!

And 3 years? That's great!!! :D

Congratulations Krakob. I have no idea what specific day I got SK but it was at least two summers ago during the summer. So it might actually be my 3rd Anniversary on Cradle too. But that's beside the point.

Three cheers for Three Rings!

And here's to three more years of spontaneously getting hugged by a Krakob cat!
