Well...
Its easy fighting tons of slag , rocket puppy and red rover but i really cant fight against tier 3 trojans
Everytime i attract the trojan to a corner and go
behind it and blitz charge it it wont work cause most of the time the trojan turns so quickly and hit me
before the end of my blitz charge. Well i need tips to fights tier 3 trojan so yea.......(And i tried alot of times soloing fsc but the trojans always kill me everysingle time.....)
hard time playing solo in fsc
Best thing to remember about trojans is they almost never attack you when you're moving. You can dance about in front of them and they wont hit you. Stop for a split second and it'll swing at you, then move behind it and kill it. Think of it like a bullfight. Also, never get into a corner with a trojan about. If it dashing at you then you're stuck.
You can solo spawn kill the trojans and at least one of the two spawning trojans on depth 27 if you use something that takes a little while to kill, like electron vortex, kat ray, drakon barrier/barrier (while dancing around a slag behind where the trojans spawn with a charged blitz) or something else I cant think of. While they are killing the last slag, you just get your blitz ready.
Or you can kill the trojans the old fashion way with a sword if using a blitz has proven too dangerous at the moment due to slags or heavy lag. Once you get good at baiting trojan slams, the trojan itself can help you knock slags away while leaving itself wide open for a few hits. If the worst happens and there are two or more trojans, it's good to make sure you bait them all to attack at the same time so you can focus more on killing one or clearing out the slags.
A Trojan slams down at like just outside gran faust or heavy sword swing range (or at least thats what I try to go for). So like Dutch said, if u pause there for like a split second the trojan will slam down, but you have to be sure of yourself and start moving behind him before he shows any sign of using the slam, especially if you dont have a lot of CTR or ASI on your blitz.
So step by step.
1. Move to the distance away from the trojan to bait a slam attack.
2. Stop moving for a split second (maybe stop, shield, hold down attack, then let go of the shield a little later to come out of shielding with a charging blitz skipping the normal attack. You can bait the trojan while holding a charged blitz though, it's just a bit more dangerous, but easier.
3. Almost while doing step 2, move behind the trojan.
4. Aim and fire.
It may seem long, but it's all pretty much one flowing motion. Okay, good luck.
Sun Shards are a very good and versatile bomb, sporting a hearty amount of damage split between piercing and elemental, which is effective for virtually anything FSC has to-
Oh. Wait. I'm thinking back to 2011!
Overall tatic:
-Estanblish some distance between you and the trolljan while still circling around it, never get into its line of sight, move anticlockwise with the direction which the trolljan is turning towards you.
-Charge up your blitz needle while moving using the shield charge techinque, pull up your shield, press left mouse button or which ever button you use to attack, and pull up your shield, this way, your knight will enter the charge stance as soon as the shield is off, effectively giving trolljan no chance of hitting you with a suprise charge while you are drawing your needle.
-Once you charged up the blitz, depending on what the trolljan does next you can do either of the two things:
+If the you are still in range with the trolljan, the trolljan may either dash, or buff its self up, if the troll jan buff, continue to keep a distance with the trolljan. If it dahses, stay still at where you are for one brief second, and quickly move out of the way with your blitz still charged. This way, the troll jan will fall into your trap and perform a slam, if you move too far away, or move prematurely, the troll jan will not perform a sword slam.
+If you are in close quarter with the trolljan, move to its back and stay still for a brief second, give the trolljan enough time to turn around and perform a sword slam. Just as the trolljan lifts its blade, you move behind it with your blitz needle fully charged and release it as soon as you get a clear shot on its back, this method is save as trolljan won't be able to get out of its attack animation for a full 3 seconds. Be sure to not hug the trolljan and actaully keep a small gap between you and it so you won't get shocked if the trolljan tries to buff.
