I don't know why he's being obnoxious, but it's annoying me. He usually revives everyone. He's a team player.
That's a little different. If he usually revives everyone then maybe he ran out of sparks, or he wants to annoy you for some reason.
Each man is entitled to his own sweat, never let the filthy parasites take what is rightfully yours.
In this case, each knight is entitled to their own spark, they don't need to revive you if they choose not to. And also, if you are dying alot, why not buy some spark or farm some in arcade?
i went to a sl run in ice queen one time where so many sparks were used on me because i was the better player. the only reason i died so many times was because lag was being a jerk that day, but i did have the better equipment so they trusted me to do most of the work.
btw Atalanta was in my party on that run.
I really wish we couldn't revive each other with sparks of life. It makes me feel like a jerk for telling people no every other run.
So, he's a good guy that usually revives everyone in the party, but when he decides not to, he's an idiot and an annoying bastard. GG good people.
I for one never waste any of my sparks on anyone except for my closest friends, specially on fsc, i can solo that place without even the need for the free revive (mostly) so why should i waste my precious spark on some random person who i don't even know? if he is a leecher then at least he should have tried not to die, if he is a regular fsc farmer then he should have his own sparks to revive with since they are only 20 energy each?
Sounds like someone has a case of the 'I feel entitled to something I shouldn't' bug.
Most SK beginners/amateurs are like this. Some guy in our party once invited a lower ranked knight to Firestorm Citadel and he ended up begging to be revived everytime he died as if it was the most important moment of his life. Heck, he even forgot his english thinking 'no' means 'ask me again'.
Using a spark of life is in some small way an investment in a player, If a player is able to dodge well, pull out good damage, or provides excellent support then they are more likely to get a spark rather than someone who walks into traps, brings wrong weapons/armor, steals kills, or is a terrible teammate.
I will give out sparks to players who need it (for a fee if they are fair, free if they are good) but I as an honorable knight refuse to give sparks to those who are not ready for a level (3-4 star knights who make it into FSC and constantly die). Even my own brother doesn't get revives as I currently find that he is not ready for FSC, If he dies twice (uses up emergency rev) I will kick him, because I don't want him to use sparks on something he isn't ready for.
For that wonderful Bioshock reference. But seriously, he got those sparks himself, he's entitled to use them on others if he wants and if he doesn't, well you can't complain. Beggars can't be choosers. If he doesn't wanna, he doesn't wanna. Deal with it. (Insert Deal with it meme here)
I'll often revive teammates at treasure boxes... not based on their skill, but on their personality. Considering you made a flame thread over this player not wasting one of his own sparks that he had to earn just to rev you, I'd assume you were acting up during the run too and gave him no reason to use a spark on you. If you die, it's your fault - at least try and be a decent enough person for others to want to rev you. Begging for sparks and flaming afterwards won't get you anywhere.
Besides, you've always got the option of buying sparks if you run out. It's far more sensible to place the burden on yourself than on your teammates.
It's his stuff, the guy can do what he wants with them. If you did die then it's kinda your fault. Did you offer to pay him for a spark?
