Okay,

Here's a post for people who have gotten 5 star items, where and how you got them.

I just got a Grey Owlite Shield from a chest in the Spiral Court depth 23 of the copper knight gate.

It is a 5 star shield.
3.5 bar potential on normal and Pierce.
Off the charts on elemental
4/5th of the way potential on shadow.
3/4 of the way max for Fire, Shock, Freeze.

It looks.... bland? It is just like the scarlet shield only a dull blue.

I have yet to try it out. Anyone else come across any 5 Star Items yet? Where did you get them? Etc.

I think...

I think, because it's been so incredibly rare to see an item like this drop, we kinda expected it to be covered with explosions and sparkles and fire and giant spikes or something. Or all of those, all of the time. Or something :3 Not that it would make better art (not at all!) it's just that when something drops that nobody has ever had before the expectation that it look super shiny is there.

Like now, I've been hanging out for the Antigua or the Sealed Sword so long, I'm imagining them spawning giant flame dragons that in turn spawn devil snipes which then run out and strangle your enemies. XD (Seriously - anyone seen on of those? The recipes that require them are so tempting!)

I agree, 5 star items should be the bees knees, in my book. A large amount of helms, armor, and shields have placeholder art that needs replaced. I hope they'll impress when they are.

I just got a Stone Tortoise -dropped from a Tortodrone on level 25 :D

I'm pretty pleased with that, because although we have the recipe, it requires rock salt, which no-one has seen as far as I know.

(and yes yes, I know technically it's only a four-star shield, but I'm still pretty excited!)
