well this kinda useful though.
You're losing more of your playerbase with these bugfixes. Why don't you actually bundle them with the gunner update? Or, at least, make bugfixes happen on Thursdays?

The update post is dated for the day before the thread was started. how did you manage that? O.o
How exactly does fixing outstanding issues with the client drive away player base? They never said there was a big update coming today. Wouldn't it look worse to not roll out updates and bugfixes that they have ready for months and months?
This shows that they're working on the game. It's not the update you want, but it's something that is also quite helpful to players like me on low-end machines.
You have a point, but I feel as if Three Rings is trying to be the company version of Masahiro Sakurai.

Anyway, I use a lot of Fire weapons, including Drakon. This might actually help me a lot.
I am fine with this. Anything to improve client performance or graphic fidelity without impacting on said client performance is appreciated... even if we don't expressly show it.
Client performance fixes are always welcome <3

well, there is no other way to put this. but the new fire looks awful! ok, the slimes look ok now, but the fire on the ground in FSC?! it's just horrible! not to mention a couple of deaths caused by the new fire effect, i can't even notice being on fire! how is it possible OOO, that every visual update you do, is so bad?! how is it possible that everything you do makes the game worse, makes the game lag more, and makes more people leave?! are you realy that incompotent or are you just trolling us?! seriously, wtf?!

I've noticed a few things that weren't mentioned in the patch notes. Some, Undocumented changes if you will. The Fire particle change is nice, but I also noticed the Poison particle was similarly changed. It shows a sickly green cloud similar to the fire particle, with the green Poison bubbles as usual.
Furthermore, the Scale armors, such as Drake, Spiral, Dragon, etc. all feature higher detailed hands on High quality, just like the Warden costumes, Celestial costumes, and Splash costumes. But I can't help but wonder. Why does the Scale line get an undocumented graphical update, but not any other armor line?

Presumably because it's 'that' time of year again, the time a lot of PC gamers look forward to.

That is, if the "Unpack Item" function on Steam actually worked the way it was supposed to.
I think what Pehta is referring too, is that the fire tiles pretty much had very low flames on low settings and were really tall on high settings.
But with the new tileset, they're the same height on all settings.
That's probably what was intended, but I can see why people who normally play on low settings would be annoyed. I play fsc on low settings to avoid those flame effects too.
The FOV charge's fire is still the same (thought you burn with a different fire)
Welp, they're probably going to patch that new glitch soon...

I mean... That new glitch caused by the Harvester in which when you hug him and his grabby root thingies, the Harvester gains laser vision, along with enemies randomly spawning when graves break. We need to fix those bugs right away!

I'm new here but not new to the game,by the way,I saw a glitch and it always happens when I always enter the stage,but I don't remember which stage was it.So,after defeating the enemies,coins and materials {these things} should come out,it's true,but I either see 1 coin or anything floating in the air,in 2 stages as I remember,but many times I saw it.Hope you can fix that bug soon.
spiral-islam, that should go on the bug reports section, but not really. it's a common thing that happens when you don't have a y axis. the coins are still on the floor, they are only displayed at a default altitude.
BTW, the fire in the room directly before the boss fight in FSC still looks the same.
And I agree with Flowchart on the Shadowfire changes, the new fire height combined with the moving edges on the tiles makes it hard to tell where the hitbox of Shadowfire actually is now. It's fine on high gfx I guess but maybe tone it down a bit for med/low?
Also the FoV, Combuster and WRH charges look a bit out of place now compared to monster fire effects like Red Rovers and Vana.
They also did a new poison effect. I preferred the old one.
Also, the new fire effects are meh. As someone with Volcanic Plate Mail with fire MAX and two helmets which resist fire...yeaah no I don't get caught of fire.
