The Apocraen Harvester is immune to everything but Fire and Poison. Out of everything, why not just be immune to everything?

I was in a run and I was throwing vials at him for the life of me and Stun didn't work at all. Unless Spark of Life revive is Strong Stun and/or higher than that. (if it's even possible)

The core is at Depth 29.
To go any deeper, we go inside the core..?
So we can infer that the Apocrean Harvester is somehow related with the swarm.
Herex may or may not have an affiliation with the swarm. (Spark and Roar treasure room)

Perhaps Herex is actually an anti-hero and we just don't know it. Perhaps he's GOOD and just trying to prevent the end of Cradle or something.

Hmm, all Herex ever wanted were the ancient artifect and the destruction of the crimson order, I don't see how gathering the souls of some knights can help him achieve that.

Lore wise, it still doesn't make any sense. What does make sense though, is the fact that reccon ranger costumes are described as been made up from the pieces of the fallen knights' armour. Could it be that Desna wanted to bring pieces of her lost comrads into battle to avenge their deaths? And speaking of Desna, dosen't her design remind you of another eye patch wearing, battle bittered veteran ?
