Obsidian Carbine or Crusher?

If a vortex bomb has only a few enemies trapped in its radius when it explodes, they tend to get scattered apart by the blast. The shock from Electron Vortex often prevents that from happening, making it more effective at keeping groups of enemies packed together.
That said, I'll second Bopp's recommendation of getting Obsidian Crusher first.
To clarify, my actual recommendations are:
* Acheron vs. Obsidian Edge: They're fairly balanced. Acheron is obviously extremely strong, but Obsidian's poison is useful when you're in a big party fighting against big crowds of monsters.
* Sentenza vs. Obsidian Carbine: Neither is worth getting. Just get Umbra Driver, Dark Retribution, etc.
* Vortex bombs: Get Electron Vortex. If you don't want to get that for some reason, then get Obsidian. If you don't want to get that for some reason, then get Graviton. If you already have Graviton, then definitely don't get Obsidian, and probably don't get Electron either.
This depends mostly on what you already have.
If you have sentenza/a vortex, get the opposite. They're really not that much different with poison, and owning more variety is more interesting.
If you just want whichever one will help you most , I'd suggest carbine. Carbine offers a straight upgrade (whereas electron vortex is easily just as good if not better than crusher in many situations), and more importantly lets you attack a mob slowly through healers. If I have a ton of mobs and 5 respawning healers, then using my carbine I can single out any particular enemy and kill it just by shooting repeatedly with my gun.
Venom Veilor is always going to be better than crusher when it comes to abusing poison in the above scenario, and the slowdown from the bomb can make it difficult to use under pressure. Its still a great weapon though.

Have you actually done this or are you just theorycrafting here? Because the poison chance on the Carbine's uncharged fire is so low, in the situation you're describing there's a decent chance the poison will wear off before getting reapplied and your target will heal it off anyway.
Well, I probably will never get electron due to the fact I don't do LD much
It seems that more people perfer crusher more, so I'll probably get that first
I suspect if there are five respawning healers, the singled out target will get healed to death long before the poison wears off.
I don't like LD that much either (especially when I hit a guy 5-6 times with an unresisted weapon and they still kill me in 2 shots) but I still managed to make a plague needle, some Hp trinkets (I'll use them once I get them to 5star) and an electron bomb.
You don't have to be good, just a decent player (I play recon and few untrinketed players can beat me 1 on 1).
I've done things like it. There aren't 5 respawning healers so of course it's theory crafting... but I've done it in jelly king to lumbers that are being healed, and on a good many decon zone with random thwackers. While the mender can heal it up quickly afterwards and the window of opportunity isn't huge, you can still manage to take out the enemy with enough asi + damage while the mender helps you.

got the carbine last year and crusher this year
Well, Obsidian Carbine is similar to Sentenza, which is currently one of the weaker guns in the game. I don't know whether that will change in the gunner update, though.
Obsidian Crusher is slightly better than Graviton Vortex, which is one of the best bombs in the game. So, unless you already have Electron Vortex (even better than Crusher) or Graviton Vortex (nearly as good as Crusher), get Crusher.
