Divine Mantle + Royal Jelly Crown + Dread Skelly Shield = Complete Defense?

Normal Protection (from Royal Jelly Crown)
Elemental Protection (from Divine Mantle)
Shadow Protection (from Divine Mantle)
Pierce Protection (from Royal Jelly Crown)
Fire Protection (from Divine Mantle)
Shock Protection (from Divine Mantle)
Freeze Protection (from Dread Skelly Shield)
Poison Protection (from Dread Skelly Shield)
Stun Protection (from Royal Jelly Crown)
Sleep Protection (from Royal Jelly Crown) not that it matters

This combination happens to give adequate defense against pretty much everything with the exception of curse which can be fixed with pendents if really necessary. It's bad with specifics but I'm thinking of getting it as my first 5 star set of Armor cause of the wide range of defense it covers. I'm interested to see what you think.

How about this?

I posted this set a while back. Still defends me against everything though! The Omega Shell helps even more because it's higher health allows it to take everything in the game.

Edit: Forgot to mention that my pet is using AntiVenom. That is how I got the poison resistance.

This has been discussed in great detail. I suggest you google it and read up.

There are a few things that stand out here though- shield doesn't add statuses to your knight and is separate, so the best bet for an everything loadout would be like, omega or the normal tortodrone shield or swiftstrike. Sleep resistance is useless, so getting that would be a moot point. The typical everything setup is skolver + divine veil, but you could likely do better with other things.

Ice Queen Mail - Poison max, Freeze max, Stun max
Purrfect Katnip Pouch x2
Antivenom III perk

This gives:
Normal, Piercing, Elemental, and Shadow resistance.
+8 Freeze resistance, +8 Fire, +8 Shock, +8 Curse, +8 Stun, +7 Poison, and +4 Sleep resistance.

Alternatively, since Sleep resistance doesn't matter, you could put Pure White Laurel (x2) as your trinkets instead and get +8 Poison resistance but with the lack of Sleep resistance. This would open up your Sprite perk to choose whatever perk you want.

Best shield to go with this would either be Omega Shell, Grand Tortoise, or Ancient Plate Shield. You'd want a shield that can take a hit from mostly everything, as this would be an all-around set. Omega Shell is the #1 choice. The UV choice for your shield would be Pierce max, Elemental max, and Shadow max for all-around protection.

If you wanted to go without UV's, it'd be Divine Veil + Ice Queen Mail with Pure White Laurel and Purrfect Katnip Pouch as trinkets. Going without both UV's and trinkets, you'd use Antivenom Sprite perk. Going without all three makes it impossible.
